I agree with you 100% here. I for one are totally stoked about this upcoming DLC. Say what you want about Hunting Grounds or even Friday the 13th: Both of these Games are a bit rough around the edges but holy crap are they fun. If Illfonic did one thing right, they totally nailed the feel of playing as Jason, a Counselor, a Fireteam Member or my personal favorite, the Classic Jungle Hunter from '87. Everything has an authentic feel to it and I love it.

One thing I don’t agree with, however, is how it’s now common Practice to release a Title unfinished and rely on Patches and Content Drops to fully flesh something out. I, and most likely everyone reading this, sorely miss the good 'ol days when once a Game was released, that was it. No Patches, Updates, Maintenance, etc. In my honest Opinion, Hunting Grounds could have used another 6 Months in the oven to iron out the Problems we’re experiencing, like those egregious Wait Times as the Predator. I would have loved to see Interaction Animations and a little more polish overall.

But once again, at the end of the day, Hunting Grounds is awesome and I can’t wait to see what’s in store Content wise!!

Oh, I agree. What sucks is that with internet and patches the good ol’ days are gone. It’s more profitable to release early, make your money, hire more staff, and THEN fix the game. I don’t like it, I don’t agree with it, but I understand and accept it. No point in being negative when the industry isn’t going to change.

That’s cool this IP is $39.99 also, but again it’s from a larger studio with a long-running franchise.

They can afford to offer free characters, and their road map only reveals 2 DLCs which is not too different that Predator announcing simply their first.

The game is literally only weeks old, not months — the fact that we’re starting to have road-map info is great news.

Exercise a little patience, things will improve and content will be announced. They even stated different game-modes coming which is a huge ask by the community.

I really hope so, but I don’t want to leave behind the rest of the people who haven’t received their pre-purchase bonus yet.
That’s just one example.

And I hope they focus on improving this game.
F13th started off very badly (I understand) at the time I bought it for a slightly lower price and I liked it quite a bit, I just hope they don’t focus so much on getting dlc out of payment every month…

I don’t want this to be like crusader knights… there are so many dlc that the whole game costs you more than 200 €

Last night it was hardly possible to play, the pairings were broken until this afternoon.
I don’t understand why they didn’t mention anything about it and suddenly on twitter they announce Dutch…

“Dutch Returns To The Jungle in Predator: Hunting Grounds” with all old bags. I won’t be surprised if they bring Arnold and don’t fix all these terrible bugs and imbalances. The game is not ready yet, and they are already introducing with some new content

I would hope that when they drop the new content, they also include a patch to fix the bugs as part of it. I could see this being the logical route instead of taking severs offline multiple times to patch. With that being said, I still play the game with the bugs, it’s fun as hell, and cannot wait for the DLC, even if I have to pay for it. And let’s be honest, I have games on my shelf that I spent way more on that I don’t play. I haven’t geeked out on a game this hard in awhile.

I’m sorry, but I’ve lost my trust in this title. Paid DLC so quick after release with a 40 euro bare bones 3 maps 1 gamemode game? More bugs than any Bethesda game I’ve ever played and a release state that reflects a post alpha state build.

Stop this greedy nonsense and fix your title. The game was unplayable today, servers not working… More than 20 game breaking bugs. You will not survive this nonsense and the game will end up exactly like Evolve. A passions project, with a lifespan of a year.

I agree the matchmaking needs a huge improvement, which is why I usually stick to private matches with friends anyways, but I have yet to hear of or see players modding their clients, are you sure they aren’t PC players spot spamming with macros, or are they actually wallhacks, can you elaborate on that?

They need to shift their priorities some. I find some of this outrage a little hypocritical because a fair number of people have been whining incessantly for more dlc shit and whatever but she the same time… there should be more than just a character up for it. They need more maps and shit and on top of that they need to a fix a number of issues as well. I don’t know what is going on at the office and shit but they could make a stronger effort than this.

Freaking called it. I knew they would some how add Dutch’s weapons to the game. But I didn’t expect a REAL Dutch! fuck me. I hope with this free updates you would fixes many issues. Let it be 2.0 patch!
