So everyone knows that you can’t right click ADS with the grenade launcher on the QR5? Guess what…you can. Aim first on ammo, then while holding it down, switch to grenade launcher. Voila!

I think it works on PS4 too, but honestly I think learning to shoot the arc might be better for actually hitting something.
Not really. You can only do it once, reloading resets it. You’ll have to go back to ammo to do it again. Aim is good while close by. At a distance, the grenade has a fall off point.
I didn’t say it was an exploit, just said it felt that way. I didn’t do any testing when I stumbled on it. Then again I was actively trying to figure out how to blow the branches off trees using the grenade and it didn’t make hitting the tree easier. Didn’t even think to try using it up close at ground level.
It could be intended, I’ll wait for a dev to comment on whether it is or not. It certainly has enough draw backs that it isn’t giving you an unfair advantage. So for now I’ll treat it as a unique trick of the gun.
I’m surprised they didn’t just add it in. I guess in reality, you’d blow your eye out/knock your teeth in by accident.
That’s probably one reason I didn’t investigate further… or it might have been the 700 pounds of Alien trying to kill me.
