Learn the timings really

The Carian parry has the best parry frames and is maintainable on medium shields, while the FP cost only takes into effect when parrying spells.

The golden parry also shares the same parry frames but costs FP when used every time.

Havnt played elden… ds2 was the hardest. 1 easiest. 3 didn’t need to because of quick step. Elden ring falls short on story inmo. Darksouls became a money milk pot…excellent game but the story started to have major fuckery. Other than that it’s just a rpg that was hard due to it not being forgiving in the first few levels. But yah you can beat the game without leveling if your parry and dodge game are great

At base I believe it’s the worst aside from medium shields but I don’t have the stats for those but that’s how previous games worked.

TBH I wouldn’t really parry. I find the game more enjoyable with pure dodging but that’s just me.

Yeah, I was thinking about using another shield that was just for blocking since I seem to do better if I don’t try to parry so much.
