Use a weapon with a quick parry.
Then get good at timing.

Thank you.

I kinda wanted to propose this thought for a potential au, that be the transhied recruits maliena, or Margot to help rescue miquella from mohg as I thought it’d be neat to have some dialogue between the two demigods.

I supposed that would be cool honestly.
But souls is always about a post apocalyptic world.

It would be cool of they made a huge game which showed the entire story.
The prosperous era, the downfall, the aftermath, and then the effects of your actions.

It would be a massive game.

I think there’s a beginner shield, the buckler or something like that. It’s a tiny shield that’s great for parrying. Use that and go practice on some of the soldiers in the front gate at the beginning in front of the lake. Once you’re comfortable enough then keep trying it on harder enemies. Make sure to spend all of your runes as you will die a lot.

Yeah, I died once and lost 3000 runes then when I tried to go back for them I got bodied by three soilders that spammed me to death, so that was a fun time.

Are you Just starting out?
Cause 3k runes is nothing lol.

Don’t get too greedy. If you have reached the highest or near highest amount you’ve ever had then go and level up. Always know how many you need to level up as well that way you don’t waste runes.

Ah ok. If you don’t care about spoilers theres a good farm up to like lv 110 I think. The blood pool or something. Have fun.
