Elder has been shadow buffed!!!

I was testing out energy builds prior to this patch dropping, and my results for the Elder were disappointing to say the least. Even with Light Bender and Heated twinned with Modified Reserve it would drain noticeably.

But now, with only Modified Reserve you get infinite thermal vision (infact, it actually regenerates like Scout class) and the cloak doesn’t use any energy at all. It’s a completely different Elder in that regard.

I’m wondering what other shadow changes they’ve made to all the Predator classes…

I’m using Elder and it is still 2-3 mow downs by specializaed and new equipment weilding FT persons while using the retarded Elder Sword.
Nothing wrong with this because i’m still claiming decent 3/4 FT members but i dont know what you’re getting at. Are you saying you use to be OP? Like no need for a pig break? Surely you jest. It still requires a side of potato for a full course meal with Elder.

No, I’m saying that they’ve made changes to the Elder regarding its Cloak energy consumption and Vision energy consumption. Before this patch I was testing energy builds, in the comments section of one of @KayneLucard videos I wrote all the times there. But now you get infinite thermal and cloak just by using Modified Reserve.

If they’ve made this change to the Elder without mentioning it, then what other changes have they made to the other classes.

I wasn’t ever going to use Elder because of how weak the energy consumption rates were, but @SkooLBoY_SkePtiK recommended a tank build using Height Advantage and Impenetrable with Protection. I changed Protection to Modified Reserve, and during my match I noticed how much energy I always seemed to have and that’s when I discovered the shadow buff.

If used with some cleverness, the Elder could be very OP…depends on how you take advantage of these changes.

It’s still so fucking stupid that they didn’t feel the need to put these changes on the patch notes. It’s like JH all over again but at least this doesn’t fuck him over entirely.

The reason I recommend protections was to help you keep your mask, because it’s hard to use height advantage without the plasma caster, but I could understand wanting to have all that energy.

Infinite Cloak is always my go to, I like being able to stalk for as long as possible undetected for that movie realism😏
