Elder sword doesn't cause crashes, but it doe's end the game fast....

Not true. I changed my loadouts to elder sword based on your post. First game, 5 minutes in, crashed in melee with elder sword. 😥

Brutal… I’ve not crashed since switching yesterday and have played about 15 games, no crashes… Fucking hell…

Yep, Elder Sword is great, and I’ve not had a single crash with it (though only played around 12 games since update).
Could be a PC thing. Maybe you got extremely unlucky. I’ve used the elder sword all week with zero crashes.
