Is it just me or is the elder sword OP? Cuz when I was playing GH it seemed as if all I had to do was hop around like I was on crack then 1 combo later and he’s down

Elder Sword slaps hard. I wouldn’t say it’s OP in itself because you can get parried easily and be vulnerable. I just can’t figure out how the first weapon you unlock is more deadly than all of the other weapons.

Obviously OP needs to “Git Gud” so let’s not dignify his complaint with a response.
I do however think it’s really cool they made the elder sword have an inverted style of hack and slash for animations. I suppose it stems from Predator 2’s Greyback holding the sword as such, but still, really nice little attention to detail. Makes it feel all the more alien as well

It just felt a bit off that I was able to just fire off a few shots hop down with the sword and win consistently, bec usually I have to be more carful in my approach and stick to the trees, so maybe it is just me who felt it seemed a bit off
In the sense that its the only good melee weapon because its not unbearably slow/parriable
With the samurai predator, the alpha sickle does 40, 43, and 54 dmg in the three hit combo. That is 177 damage in 4 swings.
The elder sword is strong, but the alpha sickle is right there, too.

How much dmg it does on the Alpha Pred?
I believe the alpha and Samarai have the same melee modifier, but I haven’t had the opportunity to test both. I’ll try to figure it out today.
I think they do 32 damage with a wristblade attack, which is normally 30.
