The cancel is debatable in my opinion, I had a long discussion with @Shield and there are many valid points on both sides of the argument.

As a predator main, Slam root canceling needs to go NOW. it’s not an intended part of the toolkit and actively works around intended game mechanics, anyone attempting to defend the practice of slam root cancel, must rely on the crutch it provides.

Sure get rid of Heal spaming and support spaming.
along with pc players turning their settings to low to avoid cloak and were all good
It would be cool if it was an actual cancel that you would need to time to pull off.
I like cancels in games. Mind you this is coming from a fighting game prespective.
I think it requiring a precise timing is fair.
But idk about the slam clip. It’s the best thing for campers atm, though if I gets taken away. I wanna be able to destroy building and stuff.

Never noticed the low settings issue, granted pretty sure PS4 is essentially running at low to get any time of performance out of the game anyway, so I mean, whatever on that point, I like my game to look pretty and run at medium-high settings minimum anyway.
Not sure what you mean by support and heal spamming, if you mean multiple people palying support, Support is fairly squishy so, just get better? And heal spamming? I literally have no idea what you’re on about there. But neither of those two things are getting around intended gameplay mechanics, Slam root canceling actively get’s around intended mechanics.
I did not know that, if thats the case then I can accept that being used then, if plasma is meant to travel through walls.

Hey can you record one of these matches with 4 supports? Cause so far I only ran into one team that gave me slight trouble doing that. But they only survived, well only one of them because I let them reinforce. Had I just killed them off at the start, the match would have ended before the clock hit 10 minutes.

Easy, because the rooting of the animation is INTENDED. How do I know, because I’m well aware of how Illfonic does things, there are issues with animation rooting in Friday the 13th too… and I can assure you, this cancel, is NOT intended behavior.

Playing on low settings is a big advantage. Lack of foliage and shadows lets you see for miles especially if you’re sniping. You can practically see all the way from one compound to the next due to the lack of shrubs & the smallers trees that get removed at minimum settings. Ps4 is running at medium.
