But you’re taking us for fools. Thinking a fancy new class/skin is compensation enough for the lack of missions and maps. You say “further down in the DLC roadmap”. When, at the end? After you e ran out of excuses and drained all our money.

No. I will personally not be buying the City Hunter. Yes, it’ll look gorgeous. No doubt the early access weapon will kick ass, at least until you nerf it like you did the Sickle. Sure, my nostalgia is immeasurable thinking about that Predator and that movie… NONE OF WHICH WILL TRANSLATE INTO THE ACTUAL GAME THOUGH WILL IT??? Oh gee, I can run around Backwater again but at least the back of this Predator is different and makes new sounds. I’m still autoclaiming, still having collision failures while leaping, still fighting the bugs in the game as much as the FT but it looks different guys, ain’t it something??? And if you think you’re being slick by secretly dropping a map with the DLC, it won’t take away the bitter taste most of us have or even bring back the friends we have lost who now have far superior and entertaining new games.

You sold us a lie. You can’t even talk to us because you know you don’t have any answers. You can’t even sneak preview stuff, because there is none that will balance the mountain of bullshit we have all endured.

If this community has any sense left, and has any testicular fortitude remaining then next month’s profit projection will be a huge Screw You to you and your Shareholders. Because money talks, so let us say something by spending nothing.

Yeah, TL:DR I’m losing my mind at this joke of an update. We are being played, and they’re counting on our money by dangling nostalgic tokens in front of us. Wallets closed.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Somebody should start a class action lawsuit over alpha predator. Since it’s free now but was advertised as exclusive when you bought the figure… hmmmm wasn’t JUNGLE HUNTER 87 exclusive? I had started a petition to make him available for everyone and I received an uproar of negative comments. So where is the uproar from the players that actually paid for alpha because Illfonic is fucking y’all in the ass dry no lube and while smacking you around a bit with these half assed updates and their crayola shaders/skins.

I have been telling myself the same thing. I will never spend another cent on illfonic no matter how “badass” the dlc character is. All it is is a character that you look at. That’s it…

You’re vastly overestimating illfonic’s time/talent ratio here though OP just take a break try again in a month or two.

The term used was Exclusive. Exclusive does not mean early access it mean exactly what it says. You are excluded until you pay for it.

I guess I assumed that a developer/company who was able to get the license to one of the most iconic IPs, who was able to get Arnold onboard, and recreate the feeling of the 87 movie would continue to build on the initial success and maintain the appeal. It’s 4 months in the wild, and nothing has changed except for skins/classes that really don’t change much in game…

No, the term used for the skin was early access. The FIGURE with the code was exclusive

Take away the predator name and this game is nothing.

I’m not buying city hunter or anything else till we get real content. Cosmetics are not DLC and the new classes are just tweaked versions of the old ones with new skins. Aka cosmetics.

I’ve supported them enough. I pre ordered. I’ve played literally every day since launch. I’ve bought Dutch and the samurai. The guys we play with are all bored now. It’s only the fact we like playing together that’s keeping the game mildly interesting.

The fact we haven’t had a single map is now unforgivable. Any other dev worth their salt would have launched with more than 3 maps and would have released more by now. It’s crazy that they seem to only be working on one solitary map for this new game mode, whatever broken mess that turns out to be. One map per dlc should have been the minimum.

DLC used to actually mean real content, hours of gameplay, new modes and locations. People are so used to being screwed now that they actually defend these devs despite them giving us almost nothing for months. It’s like an abuse victim defending the abuser.

One of the guys in the devs interview somewhere before release stated they thought of this game while they were pitching ideas at a bar lol. They just happen to know a guy who knows a guy that secures them deals with Fox and thats about it.
Connections are more important than talent tbh. Have to admit didn’t expect arnold though.

What if Arnold could see the lack of talent, decided to do it for one last “fuck this franchise” strike because he didn’t sound all that enthusiastic in the tapes. He’s not known for his love of the original movie, and refused everything and anything related to it since. Either that or Fox cut him a nice huge cheque and promised never to bother him about the movie again.

Lol it’s definitely going to be a broken unoptimized unbalanced mess that’s a given. They don’t have dates because they don’t want to confirm something and then have to delay it. Even launch was clearly a struggle to meet a deadline, it was the same as the trial weekend. Stuff we’ve gotten since then was in the works before launch & this game’s basically Early Access. People keep asking stuff like “why are they giving us skins and weapons instead of game modes?” when in reality they probably had samurai ready before month one to tide people over while they continue working on things that take forever like maps and gamemodes. Wouldn’t be surprised if they were waiting for steam release as the genuine make it or break it deadline despite how much everyone hates waiting.

Just play something else instead of waiting 10 min in pred queue. The pred queue will survive without you and its less taxing on your emotions lol. Stop hyping yourself up for things that aren’t confirmed to be in patches & then setting yourself up for disappointment.

YES I literally read the alpha predator part and was baffled. It was advertised as exclusive. I literally paid for it LAST WEEK and it’s given for free this week. I’m actually 100% over this game and I’m not buying illfonic shit anymore. I was a massive supporter after Friday and when I saw they were making predator I was so excited. But this company is so shady and so anti fan base with these disgusting practices

Dunno. It blows my mind. I’ve supported the devs until recently. Cosmetics and slightly tweaked ‘classes’ is not decent content. Nor are a few extra weapons. So what if it’s hard to build a game? It’s their job. I wonder if they’d defend the guy who built their house as it fell apart around them.

My friends and I are annoyed because we bought the game, bought the DLC. Played every day and kept the faith that we would get some maps to keep it interesting. But we only got cosmetics. The devs are driving away the people who play the most. So I’m no longer gonna blindly support them. They messed up and should be called on it.

I wouldn’t mind so much if this game was £20 instead of £40 but they charged the same as real AAA games.
