my guess is that it requires a certain amount of ‘new customers’ on the Epic games front for Illfonic to do any more development because possibly the issue is not fixing every little bug that is reported, but merely “we’ll fix those bugs when there are new clients since the last update” .
This means development per platform is merely based on profits obtained and not merely based on the holistic approach that every little crack in the armour is worth working on to polish it up.
Sad but true.
Im sure the spike in xbox gives all the casuals on Playstation a reason to buy them on both console platforms but steam and epic are having a hard time coping. at least Epic is since they originally had the game first.

illfonic has the practices of big studios when it comes to handle updating and fixing their games, while not having the big studio reputation nor the revenue.
Its a recipe for disaster. Indie/small studios are known for listening closely to their community and working with them to make games great. That’s how they become big. illfonic behaves like they are a big studio that can go and say “this is my product, buy it or stfu”… sadly, the community, as much as it complains, enables this behavior from them. You keep buying DLC no matter what. Y’all know is gonna be buggy, and shit, and every update is worse than the one before, but you keep letting them milk you… well… there ya go. here’s the result. Y’all in love with the toxic girlfriend because she’s the only one giving you a hole to stick it in.

i would delete this excuse of a game. but i dont because its the source of my content for my youtube, and ive played it for 3 years, AND its fun to shit on potatoes. i hate this game and it stinks but i always end up coming back to it. like you said, my love for Predator has me fucking the toxic girlfriend because shes the only one giving me a hole to fill up
the last thing i bought from illfonic was the PS5 version of the game and thats the last penny i ever spend on this game unless someone buys them out and fixes Fireteam: C*nting Grounds
