Epic store down

I am having trouble accessing the game due to the Epic Store not working properly. Does anyone else have this problem?
Why should we suffer from a launcher not working and not being able to play the game?
These things do not usually happen too much on Steam or if you are playing it does not usually kick you out of the game because a launcher has problems outside the game.
It should just be a damn online dealer.

lots of dropouts at the moment due to isolation/lockdown and internet load.
