Equipments for Predators.

I think this is the Poorest Content in the Game since the Release.
To date, the Only Equipment Added for Predators has been the Wrist Launcher.
(Which in my opinion, should beeing an Exclusive Equipment of the City Hunter.).
Why not adopt a pattern so that each new predator class is added with 3 new equipment?.*
I say that because we have so far 6 Predators Classes Added to the Game since the launch, apart from the 3 Standard Classes and the Jungle Hunter '87 for who bought the Game it in Pre-Sale.
And the Predators Equipments Unfortunately, are very little use.
For example.
The Samurai Predator.
He could have received 3 Equipment:

  • Some Grenades with a Smoke made by Predators. So that He could Attack the Soldiers along with Camouflage;
  • He could also have a Pulse Launcher, similar to the City Hunter, but that shoot Poisoned Needles;
  • And could have Shurikens. Just like the ones the Samurai used.

(Of course, later, these Equipment coulded be used on any Predator).
The Predators need Equipment to Help them Make the Hunt More Exciting.

This right here is what Illfonic doesn’t want to do.

It’s in the perfect place for them.

Us as fans are just mindlessly throwing suggestions and ideas for them to add to future games.

Pains me to see people continue to give them free publicity and ideas.

You got a ton of shit they could use.

  • Laser trip mines - walking through is a burning effect maybe to help block off or keep fireteam in or out.

  • Plasma mine- basically a mine, you step on it and loose a bunch of health

  • snare - activated in tree the fireteam is caught in a noose and pulled up having to free themselves before getting killed, if killed on tree the Predator can drag them up and skin them for a lot of Experience.

Gas grenades would be useful and it could even be a repurposed smoke grenade asset. Basically blinding and choking the fireteam caught in it which would force them to vacate objective rooms.

You could even utilize the expanded kit seen in AVP-R with the acid fluid being used as a sort of improvised acid grenade.

Another option is variants on the plasmacaster.

  • Rapid fire
  • laser
  • mortar

Swapping this out in gear changes firing modes to one of the three option. Rapid fire acts like the prototype plasmarifle. Laser is a guided laser from the gun. Mortar would be all charge shot but you’d get to fire it like a mortar with massive splash damage.

Instead all we’re likely to get is cleopatra using Fugitive (and the AVP Predator’s disk) and Mr.Black will have his own UAV in the form of the Falcon. Almost guaranteed that’s what they’re doing. A weapon that doesn’t have much utility as is and a gear item that’s for people who don’t know how to track or constantly loose helmets.

Side note is that the shuriken could’ve been its own weapon where you aim it and you have a cone, assuming the cone isn’t impeded by anything the shuriken will return to Predator at that spot where it was thrown. You can carry 2 or 3 of them in case you loose them but they’re usable in throwing them around corners and potentially hit something on the way back. Simpler to use disk but you can’t pilot it. So basically for people who want the disk but can’t stand the controls.

I agree they need to pad out each release with other weapons/variants, gear, perks, cosmetics etc
