Don’t spam.
If you’re seeing consistent PS4 crashing, then deleting your save data could help with this. You can remove the data through the PS4’s Application Data Management functionality. This will reset custom loadouts, but it wont affect progress/unlocks/etc.

I’m hoping deleting and downloading will help.
I’d try not to get get too pissed at these reports, were getting spammed with crashes lol.

Sony is probably riding them about crossplay and they warned them they weren’t ready because we all know sonys stance on Crossplay and how much they want to stay exclusive. But Im sure they will have is a hotfix by the end if the weekend Im sure this was in one of their constituency plan for un foreseen circumstances

My abruptness wasn’t anger. It’s that spamming helps no one. If he posts the same topic in like 3 subforums, and I respond to one of them and he doesn’t see it, he may keep spamming. It’s counterintuitive and a detriment to him and other users.

I just meant in general cause I made one too.
I meant more from different people, not one single person. My bad.
Until anything is announced I cannot comment on next steps, BUT to be fair to us, we’ve been pretty darn proactive in getting patches and updates out there :p
So, we’ll keep feeding data to QA and devs and see what magic they can make.

i play dead by daylight fine with cross play. we bought this game yesterday morning. by afternoon there was an update. by evening constant crashes… anyone found any fixes yet? we tried to delete and re download but that didnt work. i guess we will delete saved data and try again…
There is a recurring crash problem. It is coming from the save file. They are currently working on a hotfix

Oh know. You activated it. Too soon. Should have given it a couple of days and then used it once you get full grasp of the game so you can utilize that dbl xp to its max
