ERROR: Game session failure (PS4)

During PS4 solo private matches, the game freezes before giving the following error message:

ERROR: Game session failure
Verify you have an internet connection

I’ve checked my internet connection on PS4 and it works fine…

This error can happen at any time during the match or while starting it up.
It started happening a couple of times yesterday and today it happened every single match. Haven’t been able to finish a single one.

Strangely enough, I’ve had no problem whatsoever during multiplayer games. Not once. Only on solo private matches…

Not strictly PS4 happened to me too on PC now my game won’t load past authenticating when I tried to reboot it.

Same thing. Can’t join the game - “check your connection” issue. Connection is OK, ofc.

Yes, I confirm the presence of this problem at the moment (23.05.2020 (DD.MM.YYYY), The moment the post was published).
The game hangs on authentication, and then writes that there are problems with the connection.
I noticed this when, after completing another match, I decided to find another and waited a very long time. First, “connection”, “placement”, then “recovery” and again in a circle.
Either the server crashed, or the developers decided to update them suddenly.

Yeah, apparently it got fixed. Haven’t had any trouble with solo private matches today…

Apparently, it hasn’t been fixed… I’ve had the same error every couple of private matches yesterday and the day before… :(

This “GAME SESSION FAILURE” bug is back with a vengeance.
Played 7 or so solo private matches and only got to finish 2. The rest of the matches froze up as described before… One match I’d even found an OWLF tape and was waiting for the chopper to arrive.
Extremely frustrating… :(

Again- My PS4 internet’s fine and I haven’t had the issue in P:HG multiplayer sessions…

Happy to hear I’m not alone… ;)

What I do now in solo private matches is get myself killed once I find a nice amount of Veritanium (such as the purple bars) early in the game. That way I’m sure I can claim it since I could lose everything at any moment when the game crashes… And crash it will.
Pretty sad really… :(
