Yes many Russians or Slavic folk along with some from Asia speak fondly of communism. And is odd and weird as it doesn’t work. Been there done that.

But most people don’t understand and apparently folks from the United States fail to realise that what happened to communism happened to many regimes out there down history lane. They turned to dictatorships. Because human stupidity, greed, avarice, lack of compassion and consideration, twisted and screwed up interests. Things that are usually against altruism.

Also, this is an off-topic thing so given the location we are on, everything non related is probably permitted.

Given the stupid idea you just said there, nobody obligated anybody to do a thing, is about the choice of helping people around you or watch them have hardships or even die. Is your call by far.

Aside that being said, do you realise that there are people out there in the world who are altruistic and out of selflessness or out of sense of responsibility, compassion…that are altruistic, and the ability to act or do something they also engage in humanitarian work or aid?

How old are you kid? Or were you born yesterday?

Looks like you need to read history, learn it, learn the mistakes we shouldn’t do and make sure we don’t repeat it. Does that work for the ones like you?

well, what do you think?
If a person did something wrong and doesn’t change and keeps doing the same wrong things over and over(not only once, he makes grave mistakes). What does that tell you about someone who doesn’t want to change his/her ways given the chance?

Also I see a lot of stupid things that are not connected or are but I don’t know how much in this context, like “psychopaths, serial killers(?)” you can throw in sociopaths, narcissists as well and other types of mental disorders. Have you ever talked to a psychologist or a psychiatrist in your life about these things?
Because they really fit into the mental disorders. Which can be treated or not, depends on the cases and what they did or do.

its all about context. You could be talking to a depressed 18 year old who is in dire need of money and relationships. i dunno. He’s talking like he hadn’t had a friend in decades. and his face is in worse shape than his avatar. he might even have vitiligo. dont talk to strangers mon, especially those who have vitiligo.

Of course, is about context, and psychological disorders come and stem from backgrounds of all sorts, abuse, lack of proper upbringing like lack of affection in early years, lack of tutoring and proper care, lack of parental figures.

And that being said, each and everybody with issues like these need to address a close person to themselves, a doctor, a specialist in mental health. I am all in for these types of people to get help man. Is no joke with these types of people.

They need to be stimulated to reach out for help of they need it. Even if your Obama care or health insurance covers it or not, take action and ve healthy, after that sort the ways of paying for them later. There are organisations and groups of all sorts that can help.

I have no clue what this guy is man, I only know I need to encourage people to take action in case there is something wrong, like talk to people in the field…doctors, therapists if they need to.

After all, ironically, I am doing what we are talking about here…being altruistic, a responsible, and conscientious human being.

You guys know what happened to me the other day on Facebook?

I was having a discussion about Aliens on a group about and possibly with Neil deGrasse Tyson. And at one point, there was a question something like, “do you think there is superior or far more intelligent or advanced life forms out there in the universe?(compared to us humans)”

And I simply replied obviously what I think, that the universe is too vast not to inhabit a more spectacular thing than we seem to be as humans and that is naive and very selfish to think that you are the most advanced species in this vast expanding cosmos.

There was a guy who said some stupid or dumb completely unfounded opinion that was a denial of what I said.

I wanted to reply to the person, and I swear as I wrote this, quote “[name] bullshit. The universe is too vast. Get over your condition and accept that even if small, that chance is consistent (more advanced and Inteligent life to exist out there). Is almost impossible not to. You’re not the only smart monkey (as in living being in the universe).”

And guess what, the Facebook bot (probably) slapped me with a couple of days ban. I mean, really? Don’t these idiots know of figures of speech?..???

I was making a reference as in “you” the human race or human being, everything as a whole and guess what, bot or not. They must have taken it as an offense. Somehow.

Next thing you know, they will ban even the famous line of Ironhide, from starship troopers with

“Come on you apes, you want to live forever…?” as being offensive or against their so called community standards. Jeez…

Yeah here in America we call that human nature.

Again, naive. Not everyone believes in social duty. Kant knows his philosophy is an IDEAL not a rule. You think yourself above the tribal societies that are still bashing eachothers heads in to this day, but point me to whatever % of human beings engage in free humanitarian work for the betterment of the human race lol. Historically, what works? Altruism or self-preservation through acts of self-interest? Even Buddists went to battle and still do. Why didn’t they just make peace with the invaders? Because pacifistic, altruistic societies will eventually be destroyed by the one’s that aren’t. Human nature on grand scale. And love&peace is something that only exists small-scale. lol there is a evolutionary advantage to lying, cheating, stealing. Altruism has no legitimate traits because its just an ideal with no basis in human nature aside from perceptions of right and wrong.

Reality is, people’s time is theirs to do as they see fit and you’re talking to someone who helps others for a living. But if I wouldn’t do it for free I suppose that makes me a sociopath by your ruling?
You could go give your phone to some homeless guy on the street and build him a house instead of complaining about me not wanting to build the guy a house, but you won’t because you aren’t selfless even though you’re trying to preach to others about it.

For someone who loves to go on and on about altruism, compassion, and their love for others you sure do like attacking people for disagreeing with you and getting banned on facebook lmao, so i’m just here to call you out not defend a lack of morality. What are you doing inflicting harm upon your internet neighbors anyway mr. compassion? Maybe channel that moral high ground energy somewhere other than social media.

You can’t even have a conversation on the internet without sounding like a self-righteous asshole, much less convince anyone humanity is innately compassionate and caring on a scale any bigger than their family unit. Yikes.

    but that thing that you said there says everything about you being primitive as a species, hanging on to your primitive side and let no room for evolution and innovation as a whole.

What would a sentient and superior species do in your case if you manifest these traits? Not make contact or keep away because you are still in the banana tree. And that type of mindset you hold there might as well as be one of the setbacks in your evolution as a species.
