Yeah drg is an amazing game, the devs listen to the playerbase and the bugs get fixed. There are weapon/player skin packs if you’re into that, but they actually release content you don’t have to pay for. The game is about dwarves in space - need i say more? It is the most fun game i have played in ages, it is almost impossible to get tired of, and these guys haven’t even paid me to say this. I thought i’d use the opportunity while the forum is unmoderated to spread the word, but yeah buy this game right now, donate to the studio, whatever. Encourage the good game development studios, and maybe we can help them get a leg up in the game-design world.

Chaotic mess at higher hazard levels, swarms at the worst times, your fiends will kill you a lot (accidental or on purpose)

Pretty much. I overheard a geologist talking to his friend over the phone once, and he happened to say the words ‘rock and stone’. I had to physically fight the urge to raise my fist and yell it out in return XD
Nah. Too much farming just to unlock anything.
It’s an alright game but it ain’t that good.

DRG is a grind and a half, sure, but it’s fun as hell.

Yeah, deep rock is better, but it simulates content by farming.
If it didnt take 5 years to farm for everything then sure.
Its just one of those games to play only if you’re gonna focus on it, and play nothing else.
I mean the game itself is so-so, the devs are the problem.
It releases content (most of which isn’t half bad) and, like i said before, the farming is a hoot and a half.
Idk how bad you are at drg, but it took me like a month of playing just that game every other day, and then 2 months of playing other games as well. It’s not nearly as bad as you make out.

And sure 5 years may be an exaggeration, but the game isn’t fun enough to be there that long playing it.
Like you can tell they just try to extend the game life with farming. That shits lazy.
And no, they literally use farming to stimulate content.

It plays well. But just takes too long.
The only way I would actually be interested in a game like that is if it was like no man’s sky and I could actually explore and build bases.
So anyway.

I think you need to buy some more dopamine receptors on eBay. I haven’t gotten bored of it yet, and i have the attention span of a teaspoon (plus i unlocked all of the stuff a while ago). But yeah to each their own i guess, if ya don’t like it you don’t like it.
I mean I’m burnt out on farming games bro.
You dont know how much farming I’ve done on warframe, destiny, conan exiles, and some others.
But you cant argue what I said about the made building.
Imagine you could travel to other planets in your own spaceship and build bases, ect.
That would actually pull me and my friends in.
But it’s not a bad game.
Just too much farming for me without any real reward.

No man’s sky is pretty good for that stuff, and you can make your character as stumpy as you want lol
