When the old fans, the people there since day one. Have to suffer through moronic DLC drops. Also. Hate to break this to you. Literally no one that watches Conan is going to buy this game. A game titled, PREDATOR, had a retired football player with absolute 0 relevance to the franchise at hand, before 1 of the 3 main predators from the films was added to the game. Really let that one sink in for a minute

I never said I was a fan of it. But I understand it. I’m not spending my $ on it. But I’ve already played against several people who have. From a business perspective it was smart.
So let’s say that sold them a whopping 1000 more copies of this game(it didint) and let’s say every marshawn lynch fan buys this game(they won’t) how does that help the fans of the franchise? (It doesn’t)
From a business perspective it was not smart. It was inherently stupid. Just because someone bought it does not make it smart. Hoss. Think about this and prepare to have a logic bomb dropped lol. Remember when Arnold came out? Literally entire teams non stop as Dutch. Remember when city hunter dropped? Every predator was city hunter. Remember when Arnold dropped AGAIN? Entire teams as Dutch non stop. I’ve seen ONE Marshawn. FUCKIN 1. Is this anecdotal? Perhaps. But you definitely cannot ignore patterns. Just because a few people bought it does not make it smart. There will always be people who spend money on stupid ass DLC. But the fact of the matter is anything related to the first 3 films would have quadrupled the sales of this dumb ass dlc. This was not even in the ball park of smart

Its making them $ and raising awareness of the game. Mission accomplished for them. And even us talking about it validates it to them.
To be honest, I don’t really see a problem with him added. It’s certainly no worse than the inclusion of the viking/samurai predators. Plus, when he was released my FT queue times were down to about 10 - 20 seconds, which was unheard of for me. So it’s obviously worked in bringing in more people.
That logic just does not check out chief. They could have dropped ANYTHING and made money. Fuckin Shrek would have sold as a FT member. But it 100% is not making as much money as a related DLC. They are positively LOSING money on this drop. Think about the time and effort put into making the DLC. If you put that same time and effort into something else that would make WAY more money, are you not then losing money by making something no one wants?? And we are on the forums talking about it. This is not exposure. The only people here ALREADY HAVE THE GAME
You are all lookin at this so backwards. ITS DLC IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THEY DROP QUE TIMES WILL LOWER EVERY DROP. They could drop anything and people who have the game are at least gonna load it up and check it out! The difference is how many people are going to buy it, and enjoy it. And the answer is objectively less here. Samurai and Viking were also very stupid. This is my point exactly. We need movie related DLC. Or ATLEAST lore related. Like somewhat at all?? Comics? Something?? THAT is what Will bring fans back to STAY not to just check out the latest dlc then leave again

Lol you know what I mean. Yes it’s making them money but also not Nearly as much as a better dlc (related to predator is what I mean by that)
The thing is, I don’t recall my queue times being this small even when Dutch was released. Probably because everyone who was a fan of the film/s had already bought the game, so it was more like a reshuffling of the existing playerbase. Do I want characters like this to be released regularly? Absolutely not. But if they’re released far apart from one another then I think it’s fine.
I should also add that I had no idea who this guy was before, so to me he’s just “a non-movie character”.
