I paid for the dlc myself but seems dreadfully unfair to people who could barely afford game to even get to use it set a high price of in game credits to unlock it or doing specific challanges to unlock it for purchase

No. I paid for the Dutch CLASS, Samurai CLASS, and City Hunter CLASS. The weapons and accessories are given free, but if you want the Classes then you pay for them. Simple. I didn’t preorder, I don’t deserve the 87 Skin. That was an EXCLUSIVE for those who pre ordered ONLY.

And in game credits that can be farmed at ease, 4000+ per solo match?? No matter how high they price them, it still isn’t right. I know people with over 1 million VT. I’m getting real sick of these topics asking for all the goodies without paying for it.

Not being a dick but DLC is important to a game like this. In the future they could release packs of them, at a lower cost as products do go on sale… excluding JH.

Yet every game has done this first off can name cod with pre order getting the nuketown map and then releasing it for 5$ about a year after then free when the next game came out

The weapons are released for free on a monthly basis. Lootboxes are unlocked per level AND you can farm the currency IN THE MATCH. Illfonic has no reason to do either of these things but they did it anyway because they hate money xd. Worst thing they ever did was make it so you didnt earn more than you spent on lootboxes. The lootboxes arent even monetized. The skins are 5 dollars. Elder is free, Alpha is free. Maps are even free unlike COD. Very, very generous.
It’s the most easily obtainable currency ive seen in a game. Go play For Honor and compare.

Have play for honor its filled with pin manipulators too and got platinum for it too .so i understand the fuss but its literally screw poor people .and cod being generous lmfao a 70$ a 70$ season pass for most of there games then all cosmetic stuff being nearly 10 per item lmfao that highway robbery same with destiny 2 which was ruin by activison by greed
Its called paid entertainment not “screw poor people” lol. You can still play the game, people who aren’t spending rent money on video games just buy $5 cosmetics and people who don’t just won’t get them. If being greedy was profitable every game would be a subscription like WoW. Illfonic’s far from greedy.
Destiny went free to play, then released previous paid dlcs for free, which screwed over the people that actually supported the game via paying for the dlcs.
It just makes people decide “why would I support the devs if the game or this dlc is going to go free to play in a year?” Its just there to grab the initial purchases. Someone pays $100 for dlc the other person pays 0 because they made the smart move of not supporting the game, hows that work?
The biggest cashgrab move is releasing your game for $60 and then going F2P with paid content a year later.

Lol i paid 125$ for destiny collectors edition day 1 and everything that i had gotten in the pack paying extra was given away for free when i went free to play you don’t think im pissed about that
