EVIL DEAD GAME: not enuff hype

4 different ashes from 4 different time lines…just those lines blew me away. So they say they want to market this to make us wait and ‘it will be worth the wait’ so they say.
I’m always hyped about franchise games that are hyper realistic. This game is totaly truely realisticly rendered right down to the model details. That much is worth the wait as it is!

Tried Hail to the King the other day on a psx emu. I want the pc version now.

movie tie-in game from movie-tie-in studio

Watch it die within a few months. It looks like a lot of fun and I will play the shit out of it as a huge ED fan, but I feel games like this are destined to fail (hi F13, hi PHG, see you soon TCM). IMO Evil Dead has been kinda shit for a long time, the last high point was the remake which was very well done. Ash vs Evil Dead was nice but relied more on that excessive comedy and Asshole-Ash character that honestly felt far too forced, and the stories took so many dumb turns that by the end I felt disappointed (Kelly not being Ash’s real daughter because of behind the scenes shit, Ash not dying after finally defeating the evil at the end of season 3 and closing his story arc, etc.). And Evil Dead games have always been problematic, Fistful of Boomstick is probably the only one that’s “good”.

I dunno, I would have rather seen a well-polished and written single player story, retelling the events of the movies and the series and continuing beyond, than another horror-licensed asymmetrical multiplayer game.

(sorry for the wall, I’m passionate about this franchise)

I’ll get it. It’s fuckin Ash. I can be a deadite what now? "Klaatu verata nik’‘cough cough’
