Haven’t played demon in a hot while. I like playing them all tbh mate. But if I had to pink one maybe Necromancer. What about you chief?

I wish Eligos got more love despite being a minor demon.

I like the glitchy poltergiesty angle like he’s struggling to even manifest on this plane

Fear could be a better mechanic but cloning 50 elites on a downed person makes up for it & he laughs the whole time because hes a bundle of fun

Game needs a prop demon where the focus is evil trees and cars too.

How do you find the time to deepfake?

There’s plenty of apps that do it super fast. He probably used Reface, that’s the best one I’ve found.

i give myself a perfect smile with faceapp

Same lol

Puppeteer is so damn fun. I wish I was good with it lol. Learning though.

Hes the weakest one. But it’s a hard tie between him and warlord for how weak they are. Only plus side puppeteer has is the boss can kinda be really good, but even then, like 3 shots to head with a blue hunting rifle from a hunter, and hes dead.

It feels like the only one who’s really viable and not a pushover is necromancer.

Yeah, Basic Unit Necro is probably the best demon build in the game, and requires a low level of skill. I agree with you on Eligos. He’s not really a “big moment” boss that you want to try to wipe a whole squad with. I find he’s better used as often as possible to put mad pressure on the squad. The traps, fear, and chain possessing can be really strong though.

I only disagree with necro being low skill.
For the most part the basic units are the easiest to dodge, so against players that know what they’re doing, its gonna be really hard to land a hit, unless you’re good at baiting the dodge like if it’s dark souls.

I just wish hunters couldnt burn through units.
Like I play a lot of demon and survivor, more survivor now, and hunters I feel do way too much damage.

Aside from that the games really fun and good.

Definitely agree with you there 100%. I’m a basic unit Necro main and I find my biggest weakness is Hunters. If I start a match and see at least 2 Hunters, I know I’m (typically) in for a sweaty match because, like you mentioned, a good Hunter is a basic unit’s kryptonite. Headshot, headshot, headshot.

And yeah, the dodges. If it’s a Kelly or Ed, etc. I try to time up their dodges to get hits in between. Even a Kelly (while using her ability) can be hit repeatedly if timed correctly. Just gotta watch that imminent headshot if ya miss a swing 🤣

But yeah dude, it’s a ton of fun. Can’t wait for Castle Kandar and AoD DLC!

i actually forgot to post this here
Tests were done in Tutorial mode and private match with friends without any skill points.
Light attack stands for the 4 hit combo with the Hand Axe (Legendary) with 90 damage.
Heavy attack stands for the 4 hit combo with the Hand Axe (Legendary) with 90 damage.
Gun stands for body and headshot damage with the Revolver (Common) with 150 damage.

long gun ammo capacity: 30
handgun ammo capacity: 50
Shield bar health: 150
Stamina regen: 35
Dodge costs 50% of stamina bar
That little eye icon at the fear bar seems to be at 70%-75%. I’m not sure if that is the indicator at which you can be detected by the demon, or if it’s the threshold for posession.

Leaders
Health: +100 base health
Light attack: 90/99/108/117
Heavy attack: 180/189/198/207
Gun: 150/270

Heavy Attack: 144/151/158/166
Gun: 120/216
Supports have a -20% damage modifier to both melee and ranged damage
Start with 1 Cola and 1 Amulet

  • 1 max capacity for Cola and Amulet
Bug: For some reason Arthur’s +30% melee damage aura also augments hes ranged damage.

Tests were done in private games on level 1 characters with no points in their skill trees or in game upgrade to boost stats.

Damage numbers are all taken from posessed units.

Posessing a unit increases it’s damage. We don’t know exactly by how much, but right now I’m guessing it’s +50% for abilities, and maybe +100% for attacks. I’m just eyeballing it from healthbars.

Health numbers were taken from non-posessed units. (only checked for base units and Necromancer elite because we ran out of time/patience)

Every character has a base damage.

A light attack deals base damage.

Heavy attacks gains a +100% damage modifier.

Running attacks deal base damage.

Every consecutive hit in a combo deal +10% base damage.

In cases where damage calculations are not round, for exaple, 75+10%=82.5, 82.5 gets rounded up to 83 on the screen.

Damage formula seems to be just base damage multiplied by the added value of any modifiers, like heavy attack is +100% modifier, flauntist is +70%, target might have skills that reduce damage, like Wiseman’s potion which is -50%, and attack might be last hit of a 4 hit combo chain which is +30%, this example would end in an attack with base damage + 150% modifier. Though I’m honestly not sure based on this how we can end up with such high damage numbers in game. Needs further testing.

Health numbers are only estimates. We tested with support fist attack that deals 12 damage, so we just checked how many times units needed to be hit to die.
Warlord

Basic Unit:

Health: roughly 232

Base damage: 75

Puke Damage: 17 per tick, and you can get hit by it 10 times

This unit sometimes dodges attacks and retaliate with a counter attack

This unit sometimes spawns with an axe, or they can tear their own arms off with the “farewell to arms” ability, which gives them the same damage as if they had an axe

If this unit has an axe, or uses “farewell to arms” to get one, base damage will increase to 80

Forgot to check if the weapon increases the damage of puke (probably not)

Elite Unit:

Base Damage: 80

Deadite Smash damage: 120

Big Swing damage: 120

If this unit has an axe, base damage will increase to 90 and Deadite Smash and Big Swing damage will increase to 135.

Boss:

Base Damage: 100

Belly Flop damage: 150

Gas Leak damage: 44, and you can get hit by it 5 times

Granny Hug damage: 65, deals damage 2 times unless interrupted, in which case in only deals damage once.

Eligos

Basic Unit:

Health: roughly 204

Base damage: 35

Head Rush damage: 100

Self Destruct damage: 150

This unit self destructs when it’s health runs out.

Heavy attacks hit twice(though you can dodge away inbetween the hits)

Elite Unit:

Base damage: 50

Thunderstruck damage: 100
Boss:

Base damage: 60

Heavy attacks always deal 200 damage

Telekinetic Surge damage: 200 (I think)

Casting Stones damage: 160

Psychic Squeeze damage: 100, deals damage 2 times unless interrupted, in which case in only deals damage once.

Necromancer

Basic Unit:

Health: roughly 216

Base damage: 70

Lunging Thrust damage: 140

War Cry damage: 84 (sometimes if survivors stand close enough this can deal 140 damage before the actual explosion)

This unit has a shield which blocks all damage from the front while idling or walking. Shield is lost once balance bar is depleted for the first time (this depletion will not stun the unit)
Elite Unit:
Health: roughly 480
Base damage: 90
Trident Smash damage: 162 (I think)
Trident Toss damage: Forgot to check
Boss:
Base damage: 80
Infernal Invigoration damage: 75, deals damage 2 times unless interrupted, in which case in only deals damage once.
True combos
Warlord
Basic - Can combo any 4 hits (whether it be Light or Heavy) into a Puke + Dodge and perform another 4 hits.
Elites - Any 3 hits can combo into the big swing skill into another 2 hits after
Henrietta - Any 4 hits (light or heavy) into an instant gas leak can immediately combo again for another 4 hits
Puppeteer
Basic - It’s technically 19 hits (20 with the self destruct at the end), the heavy attacks count as 2 hits since they swing twice. It’s a long string and you probably won’t finish this combo string before your arms/balance bar get nuked BUT its there
L - Light
H - Heavy
L H L H LL H H L H H H -> Self Destruct
Necromancer
Basic - 13 hit string, for the smarties who rush stamina first.
H H H L L H H L H H L H -> Either Action Skill
Evil Ash - Just like Henrietta, his 4 hit combo recovery can be canceled immediately into a resurrection into another 4 hit combo (you still get the resurrection aura and benefits too)
Hunters can dodge up to 7 times in a row assuming they are doing nothing but pushing the button to dodge
they could obv do it more than this depending on skill tree
