This is the second time I post about this. I believe last time I included a video too, but still, a hotfix came out today, and we still have this issue.
The game is lagging waaay too much. Mostly on Excavation.

It’s the frame rate bug on excavation that happens when you look at a light source like the caster, frags, the sun. It’s really only on the day version. This bug makes the game unplayable especially since that map always guarantees the audio bug for me as well.
Thats not frame rate that seems more like lag… does it always happen on excavation or just sometimes??? Seems to have something to do with that weapon…
Naah, in Excavation, it happens all the time.
Weird doesn’t happen on the ps5 but i guess i know to avoid excavation when i play with my buddy… does it only happen on excavation???

It always happens on excavation during the day regardless of your weapon choice and yes it’s frames dropping not lag. It may seem like lag but it has nothing to do with your connection.
I’m on a PS5 and I’ve never experienced this on the Excavation map. I play that map most often as well on day map because I tend to find the most VT there.
I suspect maybe it has to do with your PS4 internet connection or for those on PC, maybe you have too much running in the background.
I doubt it especially since it only began in update 2.28 and never happened prior. Also it’s not a connection issue, it seems to only be connected to looking at light sources. If someone were to throw a frag in front of you on the day version of that map it will slow the frames down to a crawl however should the same thing happen on the night version or any other map the same does not happen.

It has happened to me in Headquarters as well. I must say not as “strong” as in Excavation, but it has happened.

But why not on all maps tho? I even thought it might be my console, but then I thought “if it was my console, it would happen on every map”
This happened to me tonight. I think it was the excavation map.
