So my FT just killed a Predator, and I noticed at the end of the match the predator player had double the XP as the FT players!
I don’t know the exact solution but something is definitely wrong abs broken when a predator gets killed and is gaining more XP than those that killed him.
Maybe FT needs a bigger bonus for killing Preds and an even bigger bonus for disarming the Bomb. Maybe if a Predator is killed Pred should get reduced XP.
More XP for FT and less for Predator could result in more incentive to play as FT and reduce Pres wait times… I know that’s debatable but thought I’d share the idea as a brainstorm.
Basically your gameplay results should tie in with what you receive… right now it doesn’t feel like gameplay results even matter… there should be more incentive or punishment based on results.

Was this predator keeping you on your toes the whole game before you ultimately bagged him?

He killed two of us then we got a revive and then killed him. I think I see where you may be going… in my personal opinion I don’t think that should matter and the end result should be the most important. But Open minded to hear different ideas of course that’s what this forum is for

Did you go after objectives? Or did you just go straight after the predator?

Predators get XP from a lot of things.

Predator’s getting more XP is by design.
Their queue times are longer, so they get to play less.

There’s nothing wrong with the Predator getting a bit more XP

As someone who plays mostly FT (because of queue times), I’m certainly not suffering from any kind of shortage of XP, nor has it ever bothered me how much the Predator gets (especially when they play well).

If anything the Predator needs a more consistent source of veratanium.

DBD is about to release a new matchmaking system that will work similarly to how OP describes so it can be done. N/M different topic.
