I just did the same. I took three out, but one guy whittled me down to nothing, so I ran over to the downed guys and set my self destruct. 😆

If they killed you fair doos, their prob.

But if you can have a full fireteam and kill yourself away from them and there is no escape its pretty cheeze imo

yeah but aslong as there is a way to beat it. it can’t be a “nothing but win” 100%.

like when u can defuse it on time cuz u are there, or u can run away… if there is none of these options i dont like it.

like i said, just make the very last 1 healthpoint of predator not be able to be self damage. so u can still damage your self to 1shot from death. but you cant actually down yourself.

OR, make it so if you down yourself self destruct isnt available.

then thats not downing your self thats just killing your self and that wouldnt fix the problem they would just bum rush the heli and if they down him then he runs off and does that.

theres still a loop hole what then? Remove the option all together at the end game? do you have any idea how big of a nerf that would be too the Predator?

and lastly its not that big of a deal as you can always start the heli and then move away form it keep a middle ground between the heli and the safe zone what can he do then? move back? then he made a safe zone right next to the heli.

no i do your saying the problem is if he turns on the bomb in a place near the heli away form where the players can get him that he will kill em all no matter what all im saying is thats unavoidabble you can patch that

Are you sure? I shout plasma caster down towards ground with wrist blades for combat and don’t think we can self-harm Predator that way.

I’ve only damaged myself from attacking ammo crates causing them to explode.

I honestly don’t think it’s a problem.

However, a good way to nerf this strategy would be to decrease the countdown time, but also decrease the radius of the explosion.

This would give the predator a good chance to get some kills, while ensuring that there will always be room at the edges of the map to escape.

well if the predator is where he should be he would use his bomb as a last resort instead of his opening attack.
