Now and then I encounter a crack squad FT and it seems no matter when I get close I’m forced to keep moving because they’ll snipe me anytime I’m idle, even if I try choosing less predictable places to lurk. Is there some trick to this because I find it pretty hard to sight the pred as FT.
I’m not complaining because I’d expect some experienced high level play from FT but sometimes it feels like I’m missing something.
I don’t know how you play but I play as FT only. The biggest thing I see when I’m sniping is a lot of predators who once get spotted in the trees stay in the trees. That gives me the opportunity to follow their movements through the trees and keep sniping. I don’t spot when I do this cuz it notifies the Pred. Best bet, when spotted in the trees is to jump down somewhere, not stay jumping from tree to tree. Its easy to follow the cloaked shape through the trees.
Ah thanks! Yeah I use the trees maybe too much. I try to limit my use of them to perch in the middle of the map, then for ambushes with the shoulder canon before relocating. From what you say, I might be kicking around too many bushes and leaves, and overestimating the safety of the treetops.
