failed to join a group

Hi community:

I need help, when i try to join play in group I get the following error:

group details could not be retrieved

I review and generate a file in the crushreportclient folder call:

Unfortunately, that happens “all the day”…

I already asked this questions several times in this forum and did not get any answer. Nobody seems to know, why some can join and some cannot join.

What is quite funny is, that some of my friends can be successfully invited by me, but the very same friends cannot successfully invite me…

I literally gave up inviting others than people of whom I know inviting works:)

So, if you find a solution, feel free to post it!

But, to be honest, I do not think that there just is the ONE reason for that. The problem e.g. might be a setting in your router as well as it might me a setting in your friendship rules as well as it might be some problems between EPIC and PSN account.

Though the latter is not very likely - as you seem to be on PC…

I lately met another guy who hasn’t been able to join any friends in Privates or Groups for the last 5 months now and was on the verge of deleting the game.
Our solution was to press Shift+F3 and click on “Join” there to join groups without getting an invitation.

I tried shift F3 and it didn’t work, if when I found a game and I was in the lobby he was able to connect to the same room following me
