False Information from Dev Stream

@Kassinaillia on today’s Dev Stream, I believe it was OldKingHamlet that stated that any Predator equipped with the Disciplined Specialization does not let out a Roar whilst using Healing Kits & coming out of 2nd Wind. Like the Pig Eating Being Cancellable feature that was mentioned in a previous Patch Note, this is actually false. Just tested it and not only does the Predator still roar whilst Healing & coming out of 2nd Wind, FT still hear it and have their character say a voiceline in reaction to the Roar like normal. Like Pig Cancels, it would be nice if this feature was fixed so that what was said by the Devs is actually true.

Honestly I would rather have the roars stay when healing, because you take all that damage and essentially you’re patching yourself up, so of course that shit gonna hurt, though why do the boars gotta squeal, cause you killed em, then you stab em to take a bit of meat and they scream even though they lie motionless

Idk, I seen other action movies where the hero heals themselves after a battle and barely stifle a peep when the jam the hot rod on the wound. And since this is an 80s action Sci-Fi franchise where all this comes from, we can make the same rules for Predators. Hell, they are one of the toughest mofos that space has to offer, there is no doubt in my mind that some are disciplined enough not to roar in pain when healing. And with the Disciplined spec, that takes the bill of what the trope calls for.

Don’t care how tough you are, in a state od being torn open via many dozens of bullets and then getting away to heal is gonna make anyone squeal like a baby

We talking about an movie series born from the 80s action genre where bottomless magazines exists, explosions everywhere, one guy can take on an entire army and then some, surviving falls that would flat out kill people, using hot knives for every solution to heal any wound, one liners, one week training montages that puts the hero on the level of the bad guy who has decades of battle experience, oh and don’t forget killer machines from the future and space ticks…

And fictional space hunter aliens who are just built different…

And you expect realism from this? Nah man, just give Predator that one buff. Can’t make it too easy than it already is.

Also if the Devs stated that’s how its supposed to function on Stream then that’s how it should be functioning, but via either faulty coding or a bug it isn’t. So let’s get that sorted.
