Why does it cost so much for just faster weapon swapping. What if instead it was used for faster bow charges, faster claims, and faster weapon switches. It cost to much for something so minor

Yes it would be. I feel the quick charge on the bow would be a nice addition since sometimes that quick charge would come in handy in dealing with that pesky medic

i would assume the legtimate reason is cause the Predator has the netgun and beartraps which is affected by fast hands
so one could net a guy and in barely a second swap to a melee weapon and just kill the guy with the FT having no counterplay without a fucking macro
so if that FT was alone he is just dead in every 1v1 situation all for the cost of 3 perk points and a netgun
