First of all i dont play fireteam, it sucks to be fireteam with such a bad gunplay and horrible whimpy controls over all. No fun so i decided to hunt 99% the time as predator for obvious reasons.
In general the game is such a great thing with the potential to be same sucessful as dead by daylight. But it needs massive improvements in many ways to acomplish that. Hope u devs know that and you will keep on the track and dont abandon the game soon after u milked the cow, so let us get started.
First of all about the DLC, Dutch and future DLCs:
We got Dutch as entire new class, and the Hunter 87 as entire class. Stop right there, no mor enew classes. New classes fuck any balance and making ur job of balacing out anything just much more dofficult. Future DLCs should only contain skins for weapons and characters that already exist. Why isnt Dutch just a skin for the soldier class in first line? (Beside i think he looks pretty great.)
About the Characters:
Kepp on the 4 classes for the fireteam and remove any class form the predator. (It is kind of nonsense by the way for the predators because something like the Scout would be not worthy of any kind of hunt in their culture.) Expand the class system with limiting weapons to an class and open up with more possibilitys for perks in form of more slots then 3 and adding many new perks to fill the game with much more variables for the players to chose from. Even more for the predator, there are basicly just 3 good perks and u want them always, anything else is not useful in any serious way and any predator player will agree on that if he ever faced down a serious fireteam.
Weapons:
Adding new Weapons should be a thing for both sides, well for me as predator sometimes it feels kind of op how people can shoot in this game like a million bullets in your face while none is missing. (Terrible gunplay in terms of basicly no recoil and spread, fells jsut awfull for a shooter player.) So maybe u overthink that a bit or well dont, not my buisness at all. What we clearly need is a change in the weapons of the predator, a massive change. The melee weapons are absicly useles for me because they fell like not dealing dmg or having terrible attacks like the sword or club. The Combistick was okay, but taken away its dmg, u can just use your wristblades and have the same sucess just with way more effiency. (Throwing may be a good thing, but serious…that alone and the terrible aoe is not worth to use it.)
The distance weaposn fo the predator are questionable in terms of dmg they deal. That needs a rebalance they re to weak to be played serious even with fitting perks u basicly no thread on distance compared to the fireteam.
The quesiotn i have is how far goes the license for you guys? not sure if there are limitations on which movie u are allowed to base your characters and weapons, and the comics, seriously the comics are a source u should use for weapons.
New weapons and tools for the predator:
- Double wristblades.
Attacking faster and with both hands, means no use of secondary weapons like the netgun or,
maybe even the use of the plasma gun should be limited when u use that. - Plasma guns on both shoulders.
Massive drain but higher rate of fire. - Exploding mines with high dmg in a small area.
- Cutting Lasertraps that stop movement and kill or heavy dmg to crossing people, including the predator if he is dumb enough.
- Speargun-
That is the sniper rifle of a predator, highly limited ammo, massive dmg oneshot through the head with the ability to scope. (Through the bio mask not a scope) - Shurikens, as seen in AvP 1 + 2
Distance weapon with recollectible ammo, fast thrown and useable as sideweapon when one handed armed. - Remote Bombs, that u can only detonate by yourself.
- Falcon, a scout device working like the Diskus but just no dmg, more range and more silent.
- Blazer
Is a weapon mounted like the plasma guns but is using a beam of energy that heatens anything it hits massively up until it burns and combusts.
A pretty long list and there are even much, much more weapons and other stuff to use.
Gameplay:
In the genereal gameplay the game has some serious issues, stealth gameplay is basicly not existent, neither for the fire team no for the predator. The permanent noise while cloaked is just stupid. No predator would do that, he would always reveal himself, he does it when it is intentionel. The sounds a predator does are a symbol of joy or even a predator like laughing about his prey, that is what u hear in the movies. That should be seriously changed, steps and stuff is total okay.
Change that stupid sound of the bow, it is a bow not a magnetic acceleration cannon, even if it is meant as warning for the fireteam but still it is stupid. Makes no sense for a stealth weapon.
Fireteam objectives are pretty boring and need to be more complex. Take them to lead to a longer match because, tbh, most matches dont last 5 minutes until i have win on my screen. Give them a bigger amount of EXP and stuff to be worth being made. Same goes for the predator add some kind of target beside just ripping the heads off from the fireteam. As example give him a high value NPC target with very strong defense or something he can choose to do, or dangerous animals that are worth to be hunted. Fill the game with content.
New Maps, serious that is highly important. The Maps we have arent that well made and kinda boring after a few rounds. City Maps (Kinda difficult i can imagine), Mountains, Desert like (Comics). And they need to be larger, the maps are very, very small.
Another gamemode i could imagine, can be funny but i think is very difficult to balance is a hunt like in Predators. 3 Predator hunting a larger group of prey. 3 vs 10 or something like that. Could be trhilling or trash, hard to make i think.
Skins:
More Skins, simply to make Characters and Predators lokk much more different.
Skins for Weaposn liek the Wristblades, just one blade or another form etc.
Bug:
Dat bow is invisible in many matches i played today, thats kinda annoying. xD
