So before the patch it was objectively very easy to get content and vertanium. For in-game economy balance sake it was giving out way to much currency. (Some users had 10s of thousands of vertanium)
However, as you can see above are recorded statistics for opening 1025 lockers.
The problem we face now is that the currency has become extremely scarce to higher leveled players, or players in general. Max players can no longer gain free boxes and on average only get between 250- 1000 is that for a dragged out game.
I see we have 2 options
1: Buff the scrap rate again for example close to what it was prior but obviously not as ridiculous.
Or
2: change the drop rates to be far more reasonable for higher tier items
Red items which is a bulk of the games content are abysmally low for pull rate. Especially since you have to unlock the base item to even use them.
Example: if you get a crimson shader for the eclipse mask but do not have the base mask, you cannot use it. So realisticly base masks are only viable to purchase with saved up currency, because the realistic drop rate for the base mask is .000001%.
Another solution is if any one shader is unlocked rather it be for skin type or mask. It unlocks the base one by default, or the default skin costs 1250-2500
Red items should be buffed from: 0.75% too 5%
Gold items are meant to be hyper rare and should remain so. The drop rate should be more reasonable between 1%-2.50%
I really love this game, I have very few gripes with it as a whole outside of technical problems but I hope this feedback is objective and tangible enough for the folks over at illfonic to consider heavily
