@BadBlood is correct. In the Death and Return of Superman series from '93, Supes spent months in that suit, inside a regeneration chamber. The chamber concentrated the sun’s rays and the suit absorbs them more effectively. But he woke a little early, if I remember correctly. He couldn’t even fly. He had to use flight boots (which he thought-bubble-complained about. They were slow.😁) and used laser weapons against Cyborg Superman and Monguls army. It’s one of the best Superman stories. BUT… of course Mr. Butthole Snyder just pretty much jettisoned all the cool stuff from that whole business because he knew how to make it better, yessirree!! And what a massive success it is. And that mid-credits scene where Batman says fuck? Ooooooohhh, Nelly, that’s the kinda bat-cussin I’ve been waiting for my whole life!
