Wanted to reply yesterday but lolban. But resident Godzilla collector here, what you bought @ElderPreddy was a figure made by X-Plus. They are essentially movie accurate statutes with little to no articulation, come in either 25cm, 30cm or gigantic lines, and are kind of the premium for kaiju collectors. That specific one you bought isn’t widely produced, so it cost a bit more. But it’s going to look gorgeous when you get it, trust me.
The second link you posted was for a SH Monsterarts Godzilla 89. These usually run about 6-7in and have lots of articulation, though parts have been knows to fall off or faces be “derped” as we call it. These are also suit accurate but to a degree, there usually is some changes to accommodate for the articulation. The 89 is actually looking to be a great figure with no issues so far.
Also, please don’t sell it and buy the NECA versions 😅 I own all the NECAs, but what you bought is world’s above them in terms of size, accuracy, and quality. Once you hold it you will understand.

For sure, especially so you can hold it and admire it before making a final decision. When I got my first x-plus I couldn’t stop holding it and check out all the details. Mine was a 91 like yours but in a different pose.

They’re very good. Not as articulated as Monsterarts, but FAR less likely to break in any capacity as the material is a little softer. You still need to run the joints under hot water or do the hair dryer trick with them, same as McFarlane stuff, but still a very good value. Yours will surely be impressive, I have no doubt. I happen to be practically obsessed with articulation, so as attractive as those are, they’re not really for me. Plus, no breath effects… now that I have figures with them, I can’t go back.

NECA is very good with having accessories, something SHMA haven’t done for a long time. They are rather difficult to find now, as NECA no longer has the license and isn’t distributing them anymore, so second hand sellers will jack up the price.

I’m very much looking forward to what Super 7 will be doing with G. Given the overall quality of the MOTU classics line they took over from Mattel, it should be sweet. I really hope they do 7 inch ultimate versions of Hanna-Barbera’s G, Marvel’s G, G vs the Sea Monster and disguised Mecha-G. And other monsters too. As much as I love NECA’s figs, they only got to do Rodan and Mothra from KOTM 2019. I want some good, affordable Gigans, Hedorahs, Space-G’s, etc. Cross your fingers!

IF you were interested in some NECA versions, there are a few comic shops near me that MAY still have them. If I drop in them any time soon, I could pick them up for you, if you like. Some Targets might have some too, but I doubt it.

Walmart carried some of the NECA G’s for a bit, both the OG clamshell and the new poster box. But it’s been months since I’ve seen them.
I would check your local Rite Aids, too. Yep, you heard that right lol. I’ve found the poster box 1954 and Shin (regular, not atomic) in the toy aisle.

Lol. Rite aid. I remember when I was a kid, a big Pharmacy chain called Phar-mor had a secret toy aisle you could find Star trek and Gi joe stuff in.
