That’s Victor Crowley aka Hatchet Face
He was the product of adultery
His father fell in love with the caretaker of his wife who was dying of cancer
She put a voodoo curse on the unborn baby and Victor was born with elephantitsis
When Victor was growing up he was teased frequently and had to stay inside to avoid ridicule
One fateful Halloween night some kids snuck into his house and wanted to scare Victor with firecrackers but accidentally set the house on fire
Victor became trapped and his father in an act of desperation tried to break the door down with a hatchet unaware his son was pressed up against the door and was killed
His ghost now haunts the swamps of Louisiana and kills all who dare enter
