ANNOUNCEMENT
Changes have been made.
*Tournament Rule Changes:
ā¢ The Point System has been removed in favor of victory being defined how the game defines it in 3 Sets of 3 Matches. See the new Ruleset for more.
ā¢Introduced Tournament Bracket System.
Added new rules pertaining to Predator Classes and Predator Players in Sets.
Added new Glitch and Exploit rules.
ā¢ Game Chat Only Restriction Removed.
The map āDerailedā is now part of the Season 1 Map Rotation. Map is chosen by the Predator Player in the Round.
Fireteam Rules:
Fireteam Weapons now no longer have the following Restrictions:
ā¢ Forced Silencers Restriction Removed.
Fireteam Gear now no longer has the following Restrictions:
ā¢ Only 1 instance of Health Kit and Ammo Bag Restriction Removed.
Predator Rules:
ā¢ Only 1 Bear Trap on Reinforcement Radio at a time Restriction Removed.

I am on PC so its not like I will be participating but reading the OP and seeing the number of nerfs to the FT and nothing(pretty much) to the predators I can only conclude the people behind this tournament are predator mains.
Would it not be fair to put restriction on the Predator in equal measure? Forcing people to play classes that get 1 shoot should at least translate into a ban on Observant for the predatorā¦ Thing is if you force FT to play certain classes, how about a ban on the most powerful classes the predator has? No hunters or elders. No Yautjaās bane how about no down range? No gearhead, how about no large pouch?
Whatās the point of not allowing the preds to repeat the same class when they can choose between things like all Dutches or all Supports for FT?
Hope someone is going to film the tournament and upload it somewhere. It should be interesting to watch.

I didnt read any thing but 99% of people in the forum are predator one trick (not man, one trick, is even worse). There was also a pool before and the statistics confirm that. Learning how to play ft is the first step to improve as predator, thats why lot of people suck and they need new roles.

The FT currently completely relies on crutches to win matches. Broken perks, all running support, weapons that down the pred in 3 seconds with bane. Stop being ābig brainedā youāre a FT main that is angry over the crutches being removed. This tournament requires skill not dumb luck to win, and in the current state of FT our team could run pistols on support and destroy and predator because itās obviously broken.

So FT relies on ācrutchesā to win matches and you rigging out the game with unfair nerfs to one side? I am following your post well enough? Is nerfing one side so you can win āSKILLā? Well after all this time I am starting to believe anything coming from predator players, no matter how absurd. Youāre entire post gives āmaking your own(dumb) luckā a completely different meaning to it.
PS. Really good predators around here win against premades with no ācrutchesā. Then again its more easy to handicap your enemy.

Yep the devs are pred mains too which is why they felt the FT needed numerical adjustments every patch just to try to balance out FT pubs ofc. Not because the FT has a numbers advantage and 4 people slapping the pred around with AKs/lmgs/snipers on supports is bullshit on any platform but for the sake of your argument lets pretend that coordinating shots to melt the pred in literally a few seconds is fair you get the shortest most unintesting tournament ever with everyone running the same tanks + low TTK weapons. The nature of one player having solo kill potential on the pred means of course thereās restrictions or thereās no tournament. I get you have to pretend FT is at a disadvantage at all costs because youve never ran in a premade but no

Yes, the devs noticed certain things needed nerfing (including things about the predator) and nerfed them. What does that have to do with people behind this tournament only nerfing one side? How many of them are predator mains? The devs are not biased on one side like people actually playing preds, making a tournament and nerfing ONLY the other side.
Oh and Iāve seen lots of pro players (preds) fighting full on 4 man PC premades and winning. Its not impossible for some people, just to some.
Sure and whatās diceās winrrate? Alfredo? There are bad premades and then there are ones that have played any kind of shooter at a competitive, sweaty level which is where this games balance falls apart. The skill ceiling for being a āgoodā FT is much lower while also having the highest kill potential. But yeah woo you play pubs and died to a combistick melee zerker etc.
No one thinks stacking supports with snipers and AKās is fair or comparible to taking Observant/large pouch except you and I think you just argue it for the sake of being dishonest. Kind of the same way you said leap was skill-based because people asked for a QoL trajectory improvement so they stop bumping into trees or getting stuck on shit. Make your own tournament rules see if the only people who join are āFT mains.ā
The restrictions they made didnt come from pred side, its mainly cause how easy a full party shreds pred.
You donāt really play with a group, so you dont really know how easy it is. Pretty much all the good ps4 players play ft together, which is another reason yu always have ppl who dont know what theyāre doing on ps4.
At least from what you said you make it sound like you have no buddies or team.
Ft is beyond easy.
All that said tho, I agree with no restrictions, to truly test a pred out.
You may not see it as such, but ft is op.

Mr predator main, keep defending yourself wanting to nerf the competition, its hilarious. The ones crying about what classes the enemy chooses seem to be the predator mains.
You could have gave SOME, at least SOME limitations to the predator, I compared observant to forcing the other side having low health classes that rely on stealth to stay alive and canceling that with 1 single perk. But that fineā¦ No need for FT to have stealth, just us, the predator mains!
Tel me, based on what other tournaments are you basing your argument that FT needs nerfs? How many tournaments have they stomped?
Leap does take more skill to use right with no handheld trajectory then it does with it. I canāt even believe this is questionable.

Yeah sorry I play both I just donāt pretend support is fair sorry & I donāt act like competitive is comparable to pubs whereas the pred pretty much plays the same in both except he dies faster per decent player on the team. And what stealth when are you āstealthingā in a tourny lol? Iām more baffled you think anyones taking anything but offensive/defensive perks. The point of forcing different classes was just to spread out the hp pool and put some players within one shot range otherwise the pred is depending on a coordinated FT actually making a mistake, which is boring to watch when one team has very little kill potential on the other because they all have 170+ hp, medkits, syringes & cycle gear because theyāre coordinated and rush the chopper everytime or the pred eventually takes enough damage and dies.

I havenāt played with @Idunno56 but if itās like my ft, we win like 90-95% of the time, because pred is, a damn joke.
If you dont believe me, start playing with a consistent group, using meta set ups. You donāt even really need 4 supports.
You can try to throw in individual win rate of players as pred, but that doesnt actually show anything but that individuals skill in the game.
Personally tho man, Iām tired of all the arguing over balance.
I didnt start calling ft op until I started consistently playing ft.
I think a huge problem is, people try to balance this as a 1v1, and not a 1v4 .
I really wish we could all just fucking agree on main shit so this game can get to a good point.

Look, this is pointless. You guys do whatever you feel like, its your tournament. I just pointed out the obvious fact that you did not have have the decency of giving even a little handicap to the pred. The rest are you guys trying to find excuses as to why you did it.

@FIRE That is because youāre running a coordinated group against randoms. Iāve seen preds around here saying they have 90% win rate and that they did not die in months. I have yet to see a tournament where both sides have pro players and the ration being staked against one side.
