Finally PC Settings that work (for me)

After much struggle trying to find settings that perform decently on this game I came up with something that is working pretty fine for me.

Hardware:

i7 3770K O.C. @ 4.5 GHz
16 GB DDR3 @ 2400 MHz
GTX 1070 Ti O.C @ 2037 MHZ (Core) and @4455 MHz (VRAM) with clocks LOCKED using MSI After Burner

Settings:

Everything on EPIC except Shadows, which are set to Medium
VSYNC ON

I am now getting mostly stable 60FPS@1080P, unless there’s a ton of AI. It will go down as much as 45FPS but just for a split second, which does not bother me. I am also not getting as much random crashes, which I think are related to the GPU clock constantly going Up and Down

If you OC your GPU make sure you have decent cooling in your case and your PC is not in a “warm” room. The ambient temperature inside my room is usually between 75-65 Fahrenheit.

You will probably find over-clocking solutions to be extremely niche, as they require a particular level of knowledge and research to be able to perform properly and ‘safely’.

Unless you absolutely know what you are doing do not mess around with overclocking, unless you seek expert advice first.
Also depending on your country, hardware vendor/manufacturer, it can be a quick way to void your warranty. Check the details of your hardware first.

JelouGaming works in IT, and has this knowledge.
I’ve worked in IT for 15 years now, and even I tend to avoid Overclocking most of the time.

Yeah like for real they need to improve the game stability during the match and have stable fps

Though my knowledge on OC comes mostly for gaming, on professional IT environments you do not do this, lol

I was really excited about this game when it fully released but the only problem had with it which caused me to stopping from playing it, the fps… game stability and other things, I didnt want to play on shitty graphics cause it looks horibble on this game but I also didnt want to have less fps during the match. And the thing is not everyone has the money for a RTX 2080ti and the newest 10th gen intel processor idk i dont remember the name to play P:hg on only 120 fps I believe it was! Hopefully it will change with the newest big patch 2.0 as they mentioned it should improve the stability during the game or something like that. Read the blog post if you want, there was it.

Interesting… We have the same GPU, but your processor is 2 gens better than mine. I have twice the ram you got though. I run everything at max and don’t notice any FPS issues at all.

From what I’ve read, the FPS issues are mainly a FT concern since we engage a lot more with multiple AI at close range.

RAM isn’t much of a big deal. Only time my PC goes beyond 10GB on RAM usage is when I am mixing audio with lots of real time VSTi’s.
