I’ll put this in simple terms.
@Fire I won’t let you slander FT any longer, they’ve been the underdogs for far too long.
Predator gets literal pay to win content like loathesome wrist launcher, FT only gets hammerhead, mines, anticloak nades, etc. The rocket travels towards my afk team at blinding speeds impossible to dodge and i’m sick of it. And if the poor helpless FT dies sometimes pred doesn’t let them freely respawn with their gear and ammo and instead ends the game because he wants to win or something. It’s unacceptable.
Preds that attack before the 5 minute mark are obstructing my meaningful interactions with the extremely intelligent AI that have developed slipspace technology and teleport in around alarms for lore-related reasons that make complete sense. We need a singleplayer campaign so I can experience only this groundbreaking AI for hours on end without the space alien ruining fireteam hunting grounds.
You couldn’t possibly understand how difficult it is to hold the interact button on 3 alarms while the Stargazer AI expertly navigates the map and deals serious damage to the FT. They are so lifelike it is frightening.
FT has some of the greatest stealth gameplay ever implemented in any game and i’m tired of pretending it’s not.
It’s extremely skillful to both locate mud and hold the interact button. Jumping out of the helicopter and inexplicably rolling around in a river really honored the first movie. It adds a lot to the gameplay when you sporadically interact with the ground because this is a well-implemented feature and adds so much depth to this shooter, really sets it apart.
The lack of recoil or spread in this game is actually incredibly skillful because dedicated FPS gamers will have to make extreme calculations to compensate for this new, advanced form of gunplay. Every single weapon attachment is extremely useful and there are no direct upgrades because FT is balanced and pred needs to be removed from the game.
Parrying is the greatest melee mechanic of this decade, in any game ever. Even moreso when FT could parry infinitely because the devs have never played a multiplayer game and that’s a good thing. Making a knife function like some kind of shield capable of locking the predator in an animation promotes an endless variety of playstyles on both sides. It really paved the way for DLCs with 10 melee weapons for pred to stunlock himself.
