Fire team incompetence

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the amount of people who apparently think this game is call of duty? One match I went into everybody just ran in different directions I was so confused about where they were going.

Well i sometimes meet this “cod style guys” which run some directions or ignore teammates and rush alone to objective. Pred kill them and they leaving match or say “omg my team/game sucks” and then leaving match.

its because they dont fear the predator, a single fire team member can do serious damage to a predator, especially if they are all playing as dutch and spamming the hammerhead or the minigun… predator is a joke

Hahaha one FT by himself is called lunch, yes one player can do some damage, but not as fast as the Pred can do first.

You dont need play as dutch… you can give hammerhead to any ft class

I completely agree, but it’s only a problem vs a good ft. A team that doesn’t pay attention or can aim well enough, will get murdered even if it’s a full party.

But it’s a serious problem when yu get 4 ft who know the game really well and cover each other and so on.
But since quite a few ppl dont play in a full ft, or are aware/cant aim, you get a lot of ppl bitching pred op.

Personally I think some of the ft guns are too fkn much, because if you multiply the damage by even one more guy, it equals pred health getting fully drained in like 4 or 5 secs. Balance is a bitch lol

But yes, this game is all about teamwork on the FT side, the morons thinking they will come into the game and Rambo by themselves get what they deserve, usually at the detriment to the rest of the team.

I love those types of players! My Elder Sword makes quick work of those idiots.

Yup.
I have stopped playing with randoms only. I have found a couple of nice and friendly players in-game that I group with when playing FT. It makes a world of difference when the team is working together, and it is a lot more fun playing with ppl you know.
When they are online I find it a lot more fun to play FT than Predator, and when they are not I find it a lot more fun to play Predator.

If that “call of duty guy” know what to expect from Pred. Most of the time cod guy dont know and getting killed :)
For me thats sad but i cant do nothing with that

Another huge problem on the ft side, is when you’re being a good teammate, giving covering fire, and your asshole squad mates use you as bait. Leaving In the chopper.

I think it’s because of how similar the Fireteam gameplay looks to COD. COD players come here thinking that they’ll do good and can 1v1 the Predator but get torn apart because they don’t realize what kind of game this is supposed to be. 1v1s aren’t supposed to be their favor.
