Fireteam can hide under houses on eastern shore of Backwater

So I just had a really annoying game as the Predator on Backwater. The fireteam found a way under the houses on the eastern shore of the map, beneath the scaffolding where the Predator can’t reach.

I guess they thought they could win by just waiting out the timer…I punished them with leap slam spam, killed them and won. Hopefully teaching them a lesson.

But can we fix this? I couldn’t get any claims and I don’t like to overuse the leap slam. I try to use it only once to push them out a building if they try that hiding nonsense.

Lol I had a match where a ft member like led me to it. When they went in i followed and threw a bear trap at them.

But ya these need fixing.

There is a way underneath, I found myself there the other day. I’m not sure how I got there but I know it’s a labyrinth and took me ages to find a way out. So yeah, I’ll confirm as a Fireteam main this is possible.

So is it a glitch, like clipping through to get underneath or is it an actual legit way of getting in there because that would make sense. I hate that map so much because of how vulnerable we are as Fireteam, maybe going underneath is an option for Fireteam to regroup, ammo up etc?

Southwest side of Derailed Map also has a hiding spot.

But it’s not a glitch to get in there, just have to crouch walk.

I was playing as the Predator, I killed 2 FT members then the other 2 spent the rest of the matching trading fire with me from under the building.

I could hit them with splash damage from Plasma Caster, but they kept healing — so I couldn’t kill them.

I’m fine with little spots like that as long as there’s at least 1 way the Predator can somehow get to the FT or to kill them somehow in that scenario.

Funny cause I hate it as the Predator because there is so much damn cover in the fishing village lol.

What the problem guys? Just wait untill they will came out. Game timer on your side. If they do not call helicopter before timer expires then FT will lose the game and you will take their skulls

Would the Smart Disc be able to fly in there and slice em up? Can you get line of sight with the bow? Or have you literally just got to rely on splash damage from the blaster?

I’ll try and find the location next time I’m in that map and check it out.

I hate the tight constricting walkways and the serious reduction in line of sight. If the Predator rushes us and we are separated we are easy pickings. And those damn fires!!! The number of times I’ve set myself on fire because I’ve too focused on killing NPCs is ridiculous 🤣🤣

If the FT gets near the outer parameter the Smart Disc or Bow May be effective, but the lot I fought would shoot at me then back-pedal out of line of site.

I made some direct hits, but most of the damage felt was from splash damage.

If a disc can get in be advised if it gets stuck and does not return to you the FT can destroy it.

It’s a glitch, but that match me and the ft were just fkn around so it didnt matter, needs fixing though.

u can reach whats to hurt to kill them all over again. All u do is plasma them under it

If they glitch to hide under buildings. Slam them. Use exploit on exploit.

Some FTs get really creative…
I had a couple of matches yesterday where 3 had barricaded themselves under or in a building, and the 4th just hiding close by the radio used for calling reinforcements. After being crafty and finally killing the 3 the 4th on other side of the map calls in reinforcements without me being able to get to him in time and viola they have a full FT for the last minutes. Been a strategy I have seen used a lot lately. Anything FTW I guess… Why ppl would find it fun I do not grasp - I mean just sitting put for 3/4 of the game, but then again I do not go for winning by any means necessary as I feel it would ruin my game play experience. I could just fear that the game will get dull real quick for both factions if this becomes the new meta.

I’ve had a few games where FT has found spots to hide Derailed is the biggest culprit but I actually enjoy that map. I’ve just taken to spamming the plasma caster at them I use modified reserve on all my predator builds so when I get a situation like this I practically have infinite plasma shots. But does suck that you can’t get the claims. Just want to add that I don’t plasma spam in a normal game I prefer to take out one FT member at a time keeps the game more fun that way
