These are some ideas I’ve came up with to make the fireteam far more interesting than it currently is. These are new weapons, gadgets and perks. So, let’s begin with the weapons.
Weapons:
Crossbow:
This would be a primary under the special weapons section. It would have one shot per round, and it’s reload would last for 2.5 seconds. To make up for that it would have fairly high damage. It’s attachments would be the scopes and 3 types of bolts. Standard. Poison tip which would inflict poison damage to the AI and predator dealing a small amount of damage over time. Equipping it reduces the amount of ammo you can hold. Explosive tip would stick to the AI and predator for 1 second and then explode, dealing high damage. Equipping this greatly reduces your ammo capacity. Firing this weapon will leave no bubble of sound for the predator to track, unless you are using explosive rounds. This weapon would be best suited for dealing with long ranged preds.
Desert eagle: This would be a secondary weapon under the pistol section. This would have 8 rounds. It will have a moderate rate of fire, but high damage output. It’s attachments would be scope, silencer and extended mag. This would be best for dealing with armoured AI as it would pierce through their armour. And a good last resort weapon against the predator.
Flamethrower: A secondary, special weapon. Moderate damage with small burn damage over time. This would have no attachments. The flamethrower would be best suited for swarms of AI. Not the best to use against a predator. But be careful using it, otherwise you just might set yourself on fire.
Gadgets:
Adrenaline syringe: using this will give you unlimited stamina for around 10-15 seconds. Only 2 can be carried and it would cost 3 gear points. It can be restocked through resupply crates. This is best suited for sprinting to objectives, your team, away from predator and parrying.
Gas grenade: This would create a small area of toxic gas that will deal a small amount of damage overtime to the AI, predator and yourself. This would cost 2 gear points. These can be restocked. This is best suited for preventing the predator to enter a certain area and swarms of AI. Tip: throw it at a predator if you catch them claiming to deal extra damage to them.
Incendiary grenade: Throwing this at an enemy will ignite them, dealing moderate damage overtime, leaving a small area of fire. This would cost 3-4 gear points. These can be restocked. This would be best suited for swarms of AI and igniting the predator for a short while to help keep track of the predator.
Mines: These can be placed down and picked up again. You can only carry 2 but they deal high damage. These would cost 5 gear points and can be restocked. Best suited for baiting out the predator and ambushing them.
Perks:
Dual wielding: This perk will allow you to dual wield the pistols for more damage and shots. But you lose the ability to ADS and your accuracy is decreased. This would cost 5-6 perk points.
Well this is all I can muster up for the time being. When I think of more I’ll eventually add to this list. If you have any more ideas you’d want to share I’d love to hear them.
