Fireteam friendly fire

I think fireteam should have friendly fire so they don’t go guns blazing and firing in every direction. And people that think it’s a dumb idea and it becomes part of the game it’s easy to avoid just don’t shoot your team.

It is a very dumb idea. What’s gonna stop some asshole from killing his team on purpose and just ruining the match for everyone?

We have plenty of people who purposely blow you up with barrels, we don’t need them killing you with bullets.

There’s a reason why friendly fire is not implemented. It’s you and your team against the enemy, not against each other…simple.

You’ll be the first one to go if I’m in a match with you for such a stupid idea.

i announce that this is a stupid idea. friendly fire would just ruin the game! there are countless trolls out there who would just shoot all their friends dead right when the match starts, then commit suicide. Boooooo!!!

People literally cant handle this.
Sure you’d have a few matches where people kill their team, but for actual matches this adds a nice level of challange.

Cause people dont have the skill required to not shoot their team mates? I’ve played matches with friendly fire on. Makes you have to play carefully. It’s pretty fun.

You know that infil spot on Overgrowth, the construction zone? With that little shed with all the gas cans conveniently all in one spot? Yeah, 9/10 times I’ll run ahead and spot inside of it to see if anyone goes in, and if they do, boom. Friendly fire would not be good for players like me XD

To be honest though, I would love this option if only to punish potato players. If they’re dicking around and not doing the mission, not engaging the Pred or just camping in a hole, I have no qualms in killing them all myself and quitting out.

(For the people that like friendly fire) What if their was a option for friendly fire in the game like after you load into a game you could start a vote for friendly fire and everybody has to say yes so that the match will have friendly fire. (Assuming the game doesn’t crass right after the vote.)

I think that would be a bit much, especially AFTER loading in. For a voting option like this, it should be in the lobby, same as infil locations.

then how about
“dmg-multiplier” ?

…for example,
Regular dmg × 0.2
= friendly-dmg .

the player would then “know” when he was in the line of fire.

it’s a little funny
…a full magazine on Pred and he’s in the wind / or dead
…a full magazine on FT and he’s walking around fresh and happy

…it’s really weird to consider “something like this” as normal or even good.

I actually had some matches with 626Drums when we were doing the 2v6 mode with friendly fire on. I killed so many of my own teammates because I forgot about it and the fact that when I try to snipe I always have someone run Infront of me.
In real matches it would be the same. I would just accidently insta-kill the guy who runs Infront of me or I would do it on purpose with annoying randoes.
