It can be parried. It happens all the time. It’s just takes more skill on the FT part.

Look, the FT still has the dps to melt a pred at close range. Now yes, melee could potentially be op without parries. My solution is to
Remove parries
Remove the range stat on guns
Balance the dps of guns around VS ranged builds.
Then balance melee dps around that.
Its not perfect but its better than the current situation.

Hot Take, Parry was in a decent spot last Patch and is actually perfect in this one.

I think this class exists solely to chase beserkers in second wind or infinitely kite them around staircases

I chase all the Predators across the map, not just berserkers. 😉

I have timed this using recording software and an overlay to track mouse input.

With 0.000s at Left click
The final damage ‘tick’ of the 5 strike combo is at 2.000s + wind down animation after the damage is applied.

Parry is an absolutely vital mechanic.
In AvP 1, it was expected to run Marines in squads of 6+ (With a LOT of firepower)
In AvP 2, the Marines were fewer, but still had a lot of firepower.
In AvP 2010, Marine count drops further, but now you have a Block+Counter system.
The downside for 2010, is a predator can leap knockdown a Marine and murder them if there’s no block.
