Fireteam shouldn't be able to catch a 2nd Wind Predator - Video

Even at full sprint, a fireteam member with a knife can almost always catch the Predator in a second wind during a heal. Example:

Apologies to the Predator players I did that to.

Another example of when it happened to me:

I think a solution to this would be to have a speed boost during a second wind, increasing with the weaker classes.

I mean in both of these videos I don’t see the jump being used to bypass the terrain. Running in a straight line almost down the old bunny trail doesn’t net you a escape… if that was the case… you must think we’re all a bunch of fucking idiots. LMAO :) But I get what you’re saying, do I believe the predator needs some buffs? Ye for sure there’s some things that need to be touched on and the 2 sniper shots to the mask being tossed off… is a bit crazy… fall damage is nonexistent to the fire team as well. There’s much much more I’ve delved into (level 100 and pretty active on the forums)… I just don’t wanna keep repeating myself. GL sir, let’s see what the upcoming changes are.

I don’t think anyone is an idiot, just don’t think a fully geared up human should be able to catch a Predator after a 20 second full sprint.

They are highly trained marines, they will and should be able to catch a pred in second wind.

Just like attacking these marines obviously head on without surprise will get you parried.

Gameplay mechanics to motivate all the young blood yautja to actually play by the yautja code.

Would you want a 50cal round to one shot a pred to death? Because in reality it would, but that would make a boring game.

Personally I don’t think the that anyone should really be able to catch a second wind predator. Especially with things how it is right now. You shouldn’t get into second wind, we all know it but miniguns and a grenade launchers fucking cheese you and even as a zerk there isn’t much you can do when that shit hits you.

I think a critical escape ability is leap but they decided to take that away in second wind. Jumping is litterly just a way of saying"HEY DUMBASS IM OVERHERE!" And drains more stamina. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if the preds didn’t make croacking noises and didn’t scream during second wind, that’s the main thing that gives you away during that long ass animation.

Though at this point after reading the Yautja code I think I’m just gonna kill myself if I allow myself to get second winded. Most of the code says"If you mess up kill yourself " So I guess in reality it’s better this way. 🤷🏿‍♂️

the jump has been failing almost all the time lately too so what’s your excuse now dude, I couldn’t jump fuckin once the past two rounds it only let me run sooooooo maybe you should go fix the game

First off whoever is talking about the Marines, you don’t rate and you ain’t know shit nor do you know anything about the .50 cal there are plenty of times they don’t kill and leave you seriously scarred, limbs taken off, big holes opened up yeah, but not everyone dies and that’s just humans. So to say “I know a onshot kill would kKiiIIllLLllLLL a PrEDaTOR BrrRRooOOOoO” is fucking stupid, but then again you are that guy trying to justify a human being able to keep up with the most advance killing race of Yautja, clearly someone hasn’t watched the movies or paid any attention, watch the movie Predators with Adrien Brody and that is how this shit is really supposed to be done, if this game was really legit you fuckin dildos would get your shit pushed in on one of our maps with three of our Yautja buddies, and then you’d be whining on here like the rest of us. Don’t speak about things you don’t know about, like the Marines, or . 50 calibur rounds, or the Yautja. You clearly started here at the game first, go do your research before you try and jump down these dudes throats.

Havn’t watched the videos just read your comment. I thought at first second wind was just a complete walk over for the fire team if they hunt you down fast. What you have to try do as predator is find the rocky high ground or somewhere its easy for the predator to get to but much harder for the hunters. That way it gives you a chance to heal. Nerfing it would be punishing the fire team for doing the damage to you you deserve. I think actually if played smart second wind is fine.
