New mode is likely going to have more players, who they work for and what they will be, is yet to be determined.
I’ve been toying with the idea that it might be a defend the body mission, with multiple Pred’s being dispatched to reclaim or destroy it before some artificial time limit expires.
Think a tower defence mode for FT with multiple Pred’s trying to stealth their way in. working in tandem to draw attention and pick off enough defenders that one can slip off and do the deed.
The end game could be a bomb, same as if the Pred detonated but with 2 or 3 still up and mobile, you’d have to get by them to safety.

I think so too. Especially if the humans are kinda split up, needing to guard multiple entrances and just how dangerous being attacked by multiple Pred’s would be.

Speaking of multiple preds, I wonder how they’re going to get the self destruct to work with 3 preds.
Pred’s gotta run too, 🤣.
But it might just set that section of the map on fire and let the match continue. A Pred version of the circle so many games have.
Imagine Pred’s sacrificing a team member for ultimate map control. Splitting everyone by detonating in the right spot.
My imagination might be getting a head of what the hardware can do though.

I do remember from AVP 2010 they can activate another preds gaunlet. Being able defuse seems like a no go cause they goes against Yaujta code.

It could pause if the Pred is in the immediate area, so maybe the Pred could get points for carrying the body away.
I definitely think you’ll be able to arm fallen Pred’s gauntlet. If multiple Pred’s is a thing.

Yeah that would seem like a no brainer also opens up alot more tactics and your not screwed if you lose a hunt member.

I’ve been grinding a bit this week got enough for 4 golds, in case there’s anything I want and there’s a new set of cosmetics or shaders.
Pretty sure the color is red and not purple(if you refer to the Echo color). And i think the “E” always have been there and only pops up if a group is created for the lobby where one person leaves and you join in to fill that last empty spot. Instead of replacing the Delta(D) icon, the game simply adds the next letter, which is E(Echo). Most of the times i’ve seen it giving the new player who joins to fill the last spot the D icon, the same icon that the person who left had.
I think adding more Fireteam players than 4 will be really bad for the Predator queue times, i would actually prefer if it was less than 4 to make the asymmetric thing as low as possible. xD

8member teams or 15 members that we saw from leaked metadata was i believe to be purely for testing. Larger QA individuals testing their own thing kind of saves times when doing it during one match rather than 15 individual ones.
