FIX INTERACTION & RELOAD

I’m sick and tired and having reload & interaction mechanic screw me over fix this ASAP!

Anytime FT needs to interact with anything, if a weapon needs reloading it reloads rather than interacting and completing the task at hand — this game breaking feature has cost players their in-game lives countless times because this UX design item broken.

Examples of weapon reloads rather than interacting on the objective or task:

  • Exfil Extraction, can’t escape
  • Swapping Weapon’s @ Weapon Crates
  • Defusing Predator’s Wrist Computer Bomb
  • Rescuing a Downed Player
  • Interacting with ANY Mission Objective
  • Gathering Ammo Resupplies
  • Gathering Veritanium
  • Disabling Base Alarm Switches

Reloading & Interaction should be separate functions and not bound to the same key if possible; if not possible, all other interaction functions should supersede Reloading weapons.

So pissed off right because of this problem, this and Cross-Platform Invites should be the first two things fixed for next patch.

Yes! I about to make a post this, myself and friends die/explode too many times do to weapon reloads over the Bomb Defusing, Picking someone up or during Exfil Extraction. Interactables should always have priority over reloading weapons.

F****king same. Just finished a game, two FT members split from us and summoned the chopper while we completed the mission and got themselves picked. We managed to kill the Predator in a clutch and we both tried to escape before his bomb exploded, and I proceed to reload all 20 rounds of my shot gun. Couldn’t escape, couldn’t diffuse. It is infuriating that we can manage to pull through the way we did just to die to a broken game mechanic.

You can change it to your jump button, still not perfect but better than a reload animation
