Okay Illfonic, you fixed the bow. The next major issue that needs to be fixed is the pig spawn. Why is that the pig spawns are always broken whenever I face a good premade?? WTF???!

Pigs spawns have always worked though. They don’t roam the map at random, they’re near the FT.
People always run towards the edge of the map when fleeing the FT which despawns all the pigs & then they say its broken lol.
If you’re facing a good FT and they keep moving it will despawn pigs, especially along roads but you will still always get guaranteed pig spawns at the objective site for the time the FT is there. Target iso near the FT and don’t wait until the last possible second long after FTs gone for a pig.
There is always on pig at the predators spawn kill that pig and more will spawn

I’m saying that the pig spawns should be fixed and the pigs shouldn’t de-spawn. In the match I had yesterday, there were no pigs on the map at all. I know where the usual pig spawns are and there were no pigs there.
I engaged the fireteam at the objective, I took some damage and then I retreated to find a pig. I used target isolation and guess what? There were absolutely no pigs anywhere. Pigs weren’t near their mission or anything, therefore it is some kind of bug.
Optimization. Target iso has limited range anyways. If you wait until you’re retreating to find a pig you might as well stick to health kits.
If the FT had just gotten there then pigs tend to not spawn immediately. Haven’t seen the match bug out and 0 pigs spawn from start to finish. Ive had rounds where FT is speedrunning objectives so quick pigs despawn infront of me though, before the target iso ping even ends.
I’m telling you, the pig spawns have been messed up since the recent hotfix. In that match, the fireteam was at the same base for a while and pigs usually spawn there. The pigs didn’t spawn for me in that match.
The pig spawns were perfect a few patches ago.

Pigs DO spawn randomly on certain positions after a certain time, the problem is more that most people just don’t find them via target isolation, as it has only a limited range of displaying pigs. Like 150m or so.
For example the Pig at the Weed Farm on Backwater, that most Fireteams directly run into after the start is a fixed spawn point. It will also spawn most of the time when there is no Fireteam around.
There seems to be just a random timer involved in such spawn locations, while others require the Fireteam as a trigger + the timer.
This is also the reason why you won’t find many pigs at the FT-related spawn-locations if the FT is running around a lot, as those triggers require the Fireteam to stay in a defined region for an amount of time until those pigs start to spawn.
Believe Pred also has his own pig timer, it just despawns after like two leaps which resets the clock so its way less reliable than FTs pigs.
If the FT hangs out near the map boundary or out in the water at backwater you will get no pigs spawning until they return to the mission area bc there doesnt seem to be any pig spawns away from roads and objective areas.
