Could you try with headphones with a regular 3,5 mm jack (or with an adapter from USB to 3,5mm)?
Just so we take one more thin out of the equation, namely the info going from the USB controller to the integrated soundcard.

Not sure if it matters, but do you have the game on SSD or HDD, and is the same as system drive?

Let me try that actually. I have windows on SSD and the game on SSD. will re-install game on HDD and see if that works.

Tried the re-install. No dice. Have no adapter or jack headphones sadly :(.

Edit: Nix that! Game audio is working now, but it’s slightly laggier with some stuttering. Don’t know if it’s hardware related (pretty decent pc), but I can fiddle with settings now! Thank you!

I would think it’s better when they’re running of the same SSD.

But anyway, glad it kinda worked itself out!
