Casuals will always be casuals

Increasing damage will make this game even faster. One push and one side will die. I think they have to do the opposite and reduce the over all damage. Just keep the damage as it is for some weapons, like bow, warclub, pistol and combi throw.

The new support passive as well as overseer and field medic are great for helping the helpless.

Also, the new scout passive, as well as scavenger and amphibious, really make one man stealth builds viable for objective clear and exfil.

What I think should be done at minimum is change all the new damage buffs to 5%, because they stack, and multiple 10 and 15% buffs quickly result in ridiculous amounts of extra damage.

On the topic of damage I dont think the assault class should get 3 damage buffs.

They need to limit it to one damage buff per class.
But they still really need to lower the damage of some of the ft guns in general.

Or give pred one shot pc back.

One person alone shouldnt be able to sw pred with one clip.

This has been a huge problem for months.

I mean I’ve mentioned it forever but ppl dont agree.
The majority of ppl left in this game want ft to hold the advantage.

Even at 5%, imagine leader, sniper, and bane, that’s 235x1.1x1.05x1.05=285dmg, so a single hit from the sawz50 would be nearly 1/4 of a hunters health.

if your refering to pre patch 1.06 also known as launch i still don’t believe it was ever a problem

i think that was a knowledge issue early on if we had known how to parry or known what the good guns are i do not believe “Zerker rushers” were an issue as they aren’t now and most of the top tier guns have not been nerfed on FT and parrying was stronger then than it is now

“Zerker rushers” was a knowledge issue and was never a problem after all they did nerf zerker melee dmg for a while only to return it in patch 2.0 i wonder why? maybe it was because it was never actually a problem
and it certainly wasn’t a result of the plasma canon nerf as we know now the plasma canon was fine since again it’s dmg hasn’t been altered since aside from increasing the radius of it’s splash dmg
and the bow was also fine at that point considering it’s been nerfed since then so if predators had the knowledge of what to do they would just be doing bow+stick like the meta was simply 3-4 patches later
and FT would’ve been doing what the meta was 3-4 patches later and every single “Zerker rusher” would end up dead and embarrassed because they were killed in the first 3 minutes like they are now

it was a knowledge issue nothing more if we returned back to that point predator would simply be in an objectively better place than he is now assuming we keep war club and plasma pistol the way they are now

Zerker rusher wasnt broken. We were just noobs and newbies. Berserker was bad guys , combi stick aoe radius was too much but they nerfed it. Now the Berserker is bad almost the Scout and the worst class in the game: The mc donald Viking.

Also, there wasn’t any aim assist at launch. That’s helped ps4 players substantially.

All this stealth FT build are usless until Defend a point from waves of Ai exists. Right now there is no possible way to complete mission stealthy

Again. You may be right but James Cameron remembers many rounds where these guys just soaked up damage like a sponge and could down you with ease. I still believes any changes should be slight/incremental and assessed over a few weeks so we don’t have wild, game altering changes for example suddenly deciding the pred gets to be invisible all the time unless he’s within 40 metres (just an example). So not saying we shouldn’t look at pred damage resistance but let’s not go nuts.

As a side note, these knowledge issues still exist. Lets not forget the vast majority of players are casuals. Tons of players still don’t even know the specialisations exist. These guys will still get raped by the tank zerkers and just get bored and quit.
