So I’m being trying to figure out if they are good against the predator. Only use i’ve seen them to be was controlling groups of ai soldiers. Is this even worth taking for a class?

Depends… they are really really effective if you manage to land one next to him and in his vision POV…
It helps to kinda blind him and also ambush him from behind or like he wont really be able to see 30% of shit which allows certain people to kinda run away or do their own shit… but yeah idk… i rock frag and medkit
I mean they are not that good but they cost only 1 point so it’s fine

And they can cause barrels to explode which does damage a predator so that’s an added bonus for 1 point of gear weight though semi situational

They are most effective if you can flank and ambush him and they can sometimes save your, or someone else’s, life defensively and as someone said it’s useful vs pools of AI, but other than that flash is less glamorous than other picks.
It destroys most exploding objectives

Most of the gear, apart from the ammo/health packs and syringes, is either very situational or absolutely fucking useless.
