No effect except a bright flash. It is a little worse if they have the bio mask on, but in general I would say they are not effective vs the Predator.

Okay that’s what I figured. I’m over here throwing flashbangs like a mad man, and I think I just ended up blindly the whole team except the pred lol

Thats my beef…there is no direct correlation betweeen the flash and the predator actually being affected by it. Frag grenades are the way to go.IMHO

So if it lands right at the preds feet, and you are looking at it, it can blind you for 1.5 seconds. But if you pan away from it, it won’t effect you.

I have been Predator main since day 1 and I can tell they seem pretty useless even from point blank range. You can still see almost everything after it goes off.

So we tested flash bangs on low and there was no blind affect. Yes it was a bright light, but I was never blinded.

Does the FT have an actual blind affect that gets applied?

Also,
FT uses smoke - Predator can counter by turning bio mask on.
FT uses the thermal decoy - Predator can counter by turning bio mask off.

That is also what I have been seeing. This test was on low, but I notice no real negative affect while playing normally on high either.

Flashbangs harm Fireteam more than the Predator. I think they were intended to be used against the AI more than The Predator.
The amount of times a teammate has screwed me over with a stray flashbang or frag grenade isn’t even funny🤣

We’ve learned to combine both, especially at the exfil site. Fill it with thermal and smoke like a hurricane storm, stand in the eye and be ready for the Predator who has to rush in through the AI to reach us😏

If Predator gets close enough he can see your over the head icons, but yes, it takes both in tandem to really have much effect.
