*** FOR Q&A TEAM*** (RNG For Field Lockers)

So Illfonic on Instagram told me to post this for the Q&A Team.

Out of 600 Lockers 2 days ago (or usually 50K to 100K Veritanium before) I get the same resulting pull: 3 Mythical items, maybe 4 or so Exotic. All dupes. There hasn’t been a single trophy in almost a year. Last time it was the golden gun, and a few hundred Lockers prior thr animal skulls (again).

Even tho I have most everything unlocked, there’s a few not unlocking. Specifically NRVE Rifle skins, and the actual SKIN tone for Pred (even tho I’ve unlocked skin colors, the skin itself remains locked, I know this from seeing the Field Lockers opening). There also lvl 100 and lvl 150 colors locked away (For Exiled Pred). There are also '87 Predator Class skins, Cleopatra skins, and also several Pred locks for those ('87, Cleo,
Exiled) not unlocking.

They said it themselves on Twitter that’s strange. Especially when they said they fixed RNG Elements. (This whole thing was prompted when they sent me a reply saying they fixed said elements).

So they told me to go to the forums and post this so the Q&A Team will look into it, so this is what I’m doing.

Yeah I gave up buying field lockers for this very reason. I could spend 300k on them and get nothing but duplicate mythicals. Now I just rely on the ones I get from leveling up. I’ve gotten 3 trophies from those ones from a total of like 26 lockers vs the thousands I’ve spent VT on.

While yes, they do seem to be unbelievably scarce because I’m also opening hundreds a week… they are there.

I do wonder what the actual drop rates are on some stuff. Like anyone else who doesn’t have the Jungle Hunter Class, I’m most looking forward to getting the 87’ Bio Mask. I’ve unlocked a few shaders for it but the actual mask is still locked because I haven’t gotten it yet. I’m kinda wondering what kinda odds I’m looking at…

This is why no one likes lootboxes, and no ones used them in years. Outdated gimmick meant to encourage mindless purchases… only there’s nothing to buy so this lootbox system is just there for no actual reason.

Idk what to tell ya, their own staff says the RNG I’m showing isn’t right.

But like I said, I only get duplicates of skins. Nothing else. Only dupes… And IF (big if) I’m lucky, I’ll get 3 mythical items and 4 exotic… And that’s if I even get that. Usually don’t. Big big big if.

Like outta 1000 boxes, (let’s say about 5 pulls, each consisting of 250 Lockers bought each time) I’ll get 5 mythical, maybe 3 exotic (it’s usually the same Pred armor). Do that 3 times, (3K Lockers), I’ll get a trophy.

But last time I got a trophy was about a year ago. Which wss the Gold Gun.
It’s really hard to explain. So hopefully you get it. Maybe it is a difference of buying Lockers from Veritanium vs Lockers given to you. Or maybe it’s the data on their end is all messed up. Cause I only get duplicates, yet my 87 has all to unlock still. Even the last 3 DLC Packs… It’s really odd.

Yeah, it’s really odd they had them in this game. Makes me feel like they intended to have PAID lootboxes but ditched them last second.

That’s essentially what happens to me.

And apparently that’s not how their RNG is supposed to be. They said it should be better than that.

I doubt they’ll even look at this, and fix it. I figured once they told me to make a post that it was a basic “F U”. I’ve even talked to C Bathel about other issues and haven’t gotten anything resolved. Always comes down to QA. They’re should either be a direct link to them for forums, or email. BC I’m beginning to wonder…if the “Well ask the QA team” is the Ubisoft equivalent of “Well pass it along to our devs”.
