Don’t ‘modify’ it, get rid of it.

The characters in the first movie could not ‘spot’ the Predator, even more so when he’s cloaked.

The fact that Fireteam players can spot a fully cloaked predator as much as they want is ridiculous, and it ends up feeling like you’re being hunted.

There’s no need for it. This game should rely on players being forced to look around their surroundings and listening for the predator, not handing it to them on a silver platter by allowing them to spam spot until they finally find you.

Come on Illfonic, most of the stuff that you’ve allowed the Fireteam to do In this game, none of the characters could do in the first movie. Billy could barely sense the Predator, he just knew something was out there.

This game is entirely one sided and it shows, at least in Friday the 13th, both sides have a chance.

I understand where you are coming from, and against PC ft members, this would be okay.

Buuut… against PS4 FT members, which I would argue most fireteam lobbies are PS4, this would cripple them even more and they would be playing Fireteam: Losing Grounds 24/7

Crossplay makes something like this very difficult to work around no doubt.

Spotting is fine, its not like your not mobile enough to move around and use hit and run tactics. i have no Problem as a Pred for spotting

My thoughts are - spotting is ok, if you think about it as throwing an eye icon here and there, to draw your team attention to something. Get rid of that eye icon attaching itself to a cloaked predator, highlighting him red and making him visable thrugh walls - now that is some pure bullshit thaht should not pass the tasting stage of the game! PC FT are just spam spotting random locations and mark cloaked preds standing still! That is nonsens.

Good predators Don’t have a problem with Spotting, I mean we already have an advantage has it is. yo uwanna remove spotting? let’s just buff the dmg on all FT weapons to 4 then and give them reduced dmg from preds!!! seriously everyone crying about spotting should learn it’s not the worst thing, overcome adapt.SMH

I think the people crying about spotting are thinking more about the game adapting to the strategy they want to use, instead of thinking about what is good for the balance of the game.

Imo good predators adapt and understand that the game requires you to have not only one strategy but many. Keep moving (that’s why predator has been given his absurd mobility), don’t be static, short engagements, stealthy for a while and keep moving again, etc. Spotting exists to regulate one dimensional strategies (too passive or too aggressive), same as the timer exists to regulate camping from the fireteam.

Adapt and stop crying.

Illfonic, please at least acknowledge that you are aware of this problem? More and more ppl are trying to get your attention and there seems to be absolutely no response?

Marking of cloaked predators, combined with PC FT spam spotting is absolutely game breaking – it needs to be permanently removed, so spotting only throws an eye icon in the direction someone saw something. We know this is an arcade shooter, but for Christ sakes, marking invisible Predator in a Predator game?!?!?!

It’s like, this is a major issue that a lot of ppl are getting frustrated about, player base is shrinking because of it… and all it would take is to make a post/comment “We are aware of this problem and trying to find a solution”… Fuck me in the face with an Aardvark!!! Is it really that difficult Illfonic!?
